Celebrity Traitors starts tonight at 8 pm.

I'm looking forward to it, there's some reasonably good brains competing.
At least two of the contestants are pensioners - Celia Imrie (Calendar Girls, Marigold Hotel etc) and the erudite Sir Stephen Fry.

It’s well worth watching the general one too Mammaa every bit as good
Well done Alan he’s never ever been a favourite with me couldn’t bear his humour/acting but he played a blinder in this one
Still love David however quiet he is
And Joe had it all sussed clever lad

Well played to the winner. I was gripped right to the end - haven’t watched the ordinary series before, not sure I will with the forthcoming one but shall watch the next Celebrity one as I’ve found this one fascinating.

I’m surprised at myself how cross I was with a couple of them tonight, get a grip Jax!!

^Do we know which charity the winner has supported^

Neuroblastoma. A cancer charity for children.

Thanks. A worthy cause, although I'm sure they all were.

So entertaining. Alan deserved to win, Joe has built himself a new tv career
David On- oh dear 🙈

Brilliant 🥂

Whitewavemark2 Thu 06-Nov-25 22:16:54

Joe was consistently right all the way through and David was consistently wrong😊

Who would have predicted that ending? That was great, good for him.

Doodledog Thu 06-Nov-25 22:12:12

It's actually worse when the contestants are 'real people', as the prize can be life-changing, and when they lose it their disappointment is hard to watch. This way, a charity gets it whoever wins, so it's easier.

Do we know which charity the winner has supported?

I feel exhausted!

Not what I expected at all but a brilliant ending and such a worthwhile charity.

Grannynannywanny Thu 06-Nov-25 22:07:11

What an ending, that was brilliant 😆

Doodledog Thu 06-Nov-25 22:06:39

Oh, well played!

It was a very tense finale.

ferry23 Thu 06-Nov-25 22:00:44

My brother has just texted to say be careful if browsing online as the final result has been leaked . I’m steering clear in case I inadvertently see it .

JamesandJon33 Thu 06-Nov-25 16:14:32

Me too ferry23.

ferry23 Thu 06-Nov-25 16:02:19

Well, for someone who almost sneeringly once said they would never watch this, not interested, can't see the point of it......

....I'm pretty darned excited about the final tonight gringrin

grannydarkhair I agree about Mark and was sorry to see him go.

grannydarkhair Fri 31-Oct-25 22:22:32

I think (maybe) part of the reason Joe has/had sussed out the Traitors is because he’d never met any/very few of any of the players before the show so had no pre-conceived ideas about any/few of them, unlike most of the other players had about each other.
I initially wanted David to do well for the same reason as Doodledog but tbh, he hasn’t contributed much to my enjoyment up to now, he’s just been a bit too quiet for me but I realise that could be due to editing.
My other favourites even before the start were Mark and Celia. I was very disappointed when Mark left, I loved his enthusiasm for the game.
Celia was a joy throughout, just so much fun to watch.
Although I’ve enjoyed watching Joe and Nick, I want Alan and Cat to win. Cat because she has just been so true to the game/good at being a Traitor (I wonder if her Autism/and or ADHD has been a factor in this in any way?) and Alan, who was never someone that I cared for/watched before Traitors, but has provided me with so much entertainment, especially during the first two episodes.

NotSpaghetti Fri 31-Oct-25 10:24:57

I admit I'm hoping Joe and Nick win..
But think they need David to do so....

Doodledog Fri 31-Oct-25 10:11:38

shysal

I find myself always wanting a traitor or traitors to win. I hope Cat and Alan will share.

Yes, I think the fact that they are called Faithfuls and Traitors makes it feel as though the Traitors are baddies, when they aren't - they are playing by the rules and were randomly chosen for the role.
