I loved it, loved James Norton and thought the actor that played the older brother was brilliant - Anthony Boyle. Soundtrack was great and must admit to liking some of Kneecap’s music!!
Only watched half of the first episode, thought it improbable tosh. One of those dramas where I’m constantly reminded that it’s all acting, rather than getting lost in it.
It’s on my Netflix list to watch.I read that they had to go to Wales and the North of England to film in many locations to get the ‘old’ look as Dublin just wasn’t right, too modern.
Yes watching it, sure there's quite a bit of poetic licence going on. However, James Norton's in it, good enough reason to stick with it even if he's a bad lot in this! I've seen the actor who plays the youngest son in Disclaimer which is on Apple. My mum told me the Irish side of her family were Fenians back in the distant past. I'm also liking some of the soundtrack.
Though it was a little slow to start, but really enjoyed it. Binged watched it all. Louis Partridge who plays Edward is lovely, I agree but all were pretty good
Anyone watching? James Norton is in it and the young actor who plays the younger brother is lovely. A bit daft but we loved it! Is it set for a second series?
