There must be something I’m missing. DH and I love Slow Horses, but have bailed on this one partway through episode 2… it’s as if ET is just parroting her lines. DH has read the Cemetery books and said “Oh no! They’ve miscast Zoe”.

I usually like Emma Thompson but I agree with your DH, I think she's miscast here. I love Slow Horses and think the casting has been excellent.

Agree a bit hammy but I did enjoy the twists. Will persevere. Loved Slow Horses and can’t wait for the next series.

We couldn’t get into Slow horses. Do you have to watch a couple to get into it?

I’ve really enjoyed the first two episodes of this, tv drama at its best.

I love it! The use of colour, the twists, the acting , the music.

I saw the five star review for this and just had to renew my Apple sub for a month to watch it.

Fans of Slow Horses would be able to tell it's a Mick Herron story without the titles. Some twists already and many more to come I imagine.

I haven't read the books but looking forward to learning more about Zoe's and Sarah's back stories. Really like Darren Boyd as C. He has some great lines!

Ah, thankyou StripeyGran, knew there was something with Emma Thompson to look forward to but couldn't remember the title, don't remember ever not loving anything with lovely Emma!

Loving this! Emma Thompson jumps off the screen. The use of colour is great and the narrative isn't the same old same old.
