Loving this series and how animals battle for supremacy. The wild dogs are so well organised and loyal to the pack. Kudos to them.

I’ve always been fond of hunting dogs and hyenas. The way hunting dogs look after their own makes me realise why I love dogs so much. I need to rewatch episode three as I nodded off part way through. I hadn’t realised how all of the carnivores attacked each other; I thought it was just male lions that took over another pride. Or that predators hunted at night. I remember starting to watch a documentary that showed lions hunting elephants at night ( had to stop watching sad )but I thought that was just peculiar to that particular pride. I find the safari channel far less stressful than this series. It is so good, though. Years ago I used to follow the documentaries about Echo the elephant and it broke my heart when she died even though it was from old age and it was a life well lived.

Just when you think the lions are the winners and nobody can beat them……….

I’m really impressed with this documentary.

👏👏👏👏

I’m watching this because I’m amazed at how they’ve filmed it over five years. But boy, is it brutal.
