I believe this is on Disney + which we don’t subscribe to. Does anyone subscribe to it and if so is the series worth watching?

Yes. We saw it earlier this year when my son was staying with us and we could access Disney. It had been recommended on Radio 4’s must Watch. It’s excellent.

A lot of programmes eg Renegade Nell ( also excellent) often seem to find themselves on Ch4 and other free to air channels.

Yes I watched it on Disney+ and thoroughly enjoyed it. It involves boxing so there are some violent scenes.

By the makers of Peaky Blinders I believe so there was always going to be violence! I wish I could afford to subscribe to all the channels. There’s a new Game of Thrones prequel starting soon on HBO that I’d love to watch; it looks quite funny. And there’s another one on Sky ( ?) Bunny something or other. Sky arts keeps teasing me with trailers for it sad.

We don't subscribe to Disney+ but a son does and so we access through him. Lots of very good programmes to view, new and old. Much better than Netflix.

I'm just watching my 90-something episode of 'Scandal' and loving every minute of it. I watch an episode or two each night in bed on my ipad whilst my hubby and sons watch 'mens things' downstairs!! **

Watched it about a decade ago on DVD and it's still brilliant. About 30 episodes left to view and then I'll have to choose something else for my bedtime watch - but it won't be 'A Thousand Blows' as far too violent and blood-thirsty for my taste.

** 'mens things' meaning war films etc, not porn!!

I’ve watched two episodes of Bunny ? Is Dead and it’s weird. The main character is sex mad and even walks out, in the middle of his wife’s funeral, to go in the toilet to ‘relieve’ himself - not going to the loo! It’s just obscene, but it’s written by Nick Cave so bound to be shocking. It’s got rave reviews but I didn’t like it one bit.

The Bunny one with Cumberbatch was on a terrestrial channel to begin with I think.

Was it only after watching 2episodes that you came to the conclusion that you didn’t like it one bit 🤷‍♀️

I agree AJW56 - I have watched my fair share of blue movies over the years but this is so distasteful. Only managed two episodes then had enough.

I subscribe to one of the various outlets for one month, binge everything then cancel. A Thousand Blows was excellent and S2 is now in production.

I wait to see what's coming up and access free streamers until the next paid streaming service I'm looking at has a few shows on offer then I'll subscribe to one of them.

I keep a list when new shows come out and once there are a few decent things I decide who will get my money!

I finished Netflix two weeks ago and I'm waiting now until next week when I'll subscribe to Paramount to watch S2 of Landman, and other shows like All Her Fault, Strange Things and Midas Man.

I don't mind spending the $10 - $15 Aus every six weeks or so because it would cost more to see a single movie at a theatre.

I have read the book The Death of Bunny Munro, some years ago (it was published 2012). Yes it is rather graphic and disturbing, but I like Nick Cave and would like to see the series, but not willing to pay to subscribe to all these channels! I will wait until it's available somewhere free to stream. Not a great fan of Matt Smith (the lead actor), but will be interested to watch when I can access it freely!
