I watched the first episode and half of the second and just dont get what all the hype is about. It all seems so fake. I just see adults exaggerating their emotions for TV and Claudia Winkleman with her fake serious voice. I just lost interest.

shysal Sat 03-Jan-26 13:50:08

I have just seen on line that a popular theory is that Claudia is the secret traitor! That would be interesting!

I wonder what will happen if the mystery traitor is voted off at the round table, will they declare their role? If it is Claudia that scenario wouldn't occur.

Totally addicted agree a week between episodes is much too long. What about the fantastic scenery it is amazing. I hope the contestants have a chance to stop and enjoy it!
Think the red cloak traitor is an added twist to an already complicated situation.
Maybe the ex policewoman might be involved. If I was thinking up the plot I would put an experienced detective in the mix!!!

Does anyone think that the Family Tree shown in episode 1 is important?

Could it possibly be that we have 11 'pairs' in the Castle?

Soroptimum Sat 03-Jan-26 12:57:17

This is helpful!

Last night really threw me. I now still think it still could be Ross- if so he is an excellent actor!

I also have Roxy and Amanda on my list now.

Why do people think Fiona?

shysal Sat 03-Jan-26 09:59:59

I am still thinking Fiona for the secret traitor. Her writing on the voting slate was unusual and a bit similar to that on the murder list.

NotAGran55 Sat 03-Jan-26 09:30:07

I’m guessing Roxy as the secret traitor.

Some people's "garbage" is other people's "light entertainment". Tbh I'm really pleased to have an antidote to all the misery there is in the world and it seems that a lot of people agree. The first episode of this series was watched by 6.9 million viewers, the finale of the previous one pulled in over 11 million. Seems a lot of people love a little bit of garbage or as others would say "reality TV.

Absolutely!

Totally agree, I for one do not need to be educated every time I turn on a television, radio or even open a new book.

It is light entertainment with a twist, thoroughly enjoying this series, I am a late convert as previously I have only watched the Celebrity version.

Can Claudia actually see where she's going?

That fringe puts me off watching anything she is in. Stupid maybe, but it really gets on my nerves. It wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t keep peering out from under it, like a sleepy mole!

She has her fringe long to disguise her eyes, which she has had to have several surgeries on.

The usual deafening background music, hysterical screaming and shouting of "Oh My God" that constitutes popular TV programmes nowadays.
It's garbage.

Absolutely agree!

I wonder if one of the traitors is the Secret Traitor?

I’ve only started watching it because my son and his family were watching it yesterday and it reminded me of how I used to watch Big Brother with my son and we used to talk about it. So it occurred to me to me that there aren’t many programmes these days that bring people together. But I thought tonight that if the secret traitor left the series early on it would ruin the whole point of having a secret traitor? So it could be one of the three traitors couldn’t it? Not that I actually understand any of it (which is why I tend not to watch anything with a plot).

Things have backfired on Sam now that Judy has left and was a faithful.

It's garbage.

Why did you watch it? confused

It settles down quickly if you continue to watch it and becomes psychologically very interesting.

keepingquiet Fri 02-Jan-26 22:37:22

I think it was a different programme...?
