Grannywanny - we have just checked iplayer for Traitors Ireland only the first two episodes have been uploaded as far as we can see. I did go on BBC3 but again only two episodes appear.

Yes. I found that too, but I see 2 new episodes are on BBC3 tonight so I imagine they will appear on iPlayer in blocks of 2.

Looks like 2 a week for Ireland. As well as Australia, NZ and the US on iPlayer, you can watch a few others on Daily Motion, Canada next on my list

Doodledog it’s on BBC3 and the full series has already been added to BBC Iplayer .

Thanks - I'll check that out 😀

Sorry kissngate I thought they were all there. I watched and enjoyed the first 2 episodes last night and turned off quickly before it rolled on to the next episode. Sounds like I would have had a long wait if I’d sat staring at the screen expecting episode 3 to appear 😆

kissngate Sun 25-Jan-26 13:37:27

Thought the Traitors were worthy winners of the latest series. Apart from Harriet and Jessie the rest of them were clueless and did not deserve a share of the winnings.

Is the Irish one on YouTube, please? If not, where can I watch it?

I’ve drifted in to watching the Irish Traitors this evening. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and I’m hooked. It was shown in Ireland last year but is now on BBC Iplayer if anyone is interested.

I would watch but am not too good with lots of Irish accents.
Rachel had a good clear voice so I could always understand her the ending of Traitors was so good and I was happy that the last two standing were Rachel and Stephen.Faithful to each other is the way to go.

ferry23 Sun 25-Jan-26 00:25:42

Yes to both of the above posts. I'm now hooked on the Irish version.

And the Claudia programme was quite interesting. She's obviously well liked and well respected in the industry. She's a clever, shrewd lady as well as being naturally funny and self deprecating.

Millie I also couldn't really take to Rachel but liked Stephen. I really didn't want her to win.

I actually find the tossing of the bags into the flames rather dull... and my red/green colour blind husband finds it very frustrating!

merlotgran Sat 24-Jan-26 23:41:36

Did anyone watch the documentary on Claudia on Channel 5 this evening?
It described her wardrobe on the Traitors as Ronnie Corbett meets Princess Anne, meets Madonna in her Guy Ritchie years. 😂
I think Princes Anne would approve.

I hadn't watched any of the previous series so didn't know what happened when they got down to the final few.

I couldn't really take to Rachel but I liked Stephen. I would have liked him and Jade to win and still share the money.

3 faithfuls won series 1
1 traitor won series 2
2 faithfuls won series 3
2 traitors (50%) won series 4

Thanks- shows how much attention I've been paying even though I love the show!!
So that's a ration of 3:5 to the faithful.
Maybe I will watch the next series after all!

ferry23 Sat 24-Jan-26 20:20:38

Thanks OldFrill.
A traitor can win all the money, faithfuls will always have to share.

There has to be at least 2 at the end. But even if there's 3 if one or more is a traitor they take it all. So the best scenario for faithfuls is that there are 2 of them left at the end and they share.

I think that's right?

I don't think the chest thing was fixed. Rachel just got lucky, but she was also lucky to be chosen as a Traitor.

I'm not sure how many Faithfuls have won?

The whole game is predicated for the Traitors to win, which is why they all want to be one...

Exactly. It's weighted so heavily in their favour and the odds are with them.

The traitors know who are traitors and who are faithfuls. The faithfuls know neither. The faithfuls have to banish every traitor and given the number of contestants for at least half of the time, if not more, they're more likely to pick a faithful, the law of probabilities says so.

I'm no statistician but I wonder what the odds are of faithfuls winning.

Whenever a programme doesn't go the way some people would like - it's always "a fix".

All these reality shows, however clever or however banal, rely heavily on clever editing and audience expectation research - not "fixing".

REKA Sat 24-Jan-26 11:16:41

I was very pleased with the outcome. The faithfuls weren't particularly good. Stephen and Rachel deserved the win. I did think that Stephen was about to out Rachel but the pair of them remained loyal to each other. Maybe not the way to play the game but it was good to see.

I've not watched this before but shall do from now on.

How did they fix the choosing of the boxes between Rachel and James 🤔 ?

What makes tpyou think it was fixed?

When she took the furthest one, I thought no, that's too obvious, Rachel!

Sorry, my question was directed to those who think the show was fixed.
How could the box choosing be fixed, unless Rachel had been told to take her one?

Ah, get it!! 😀 Sorry.

No, it couldn't have been.

Anything which would indicate fixing of any kind would bring the whole franchise into disrepute and make a mockery of the programmes internationally.

Sparklefizz Sat 24-Jan-26 10:45:49

I thought it was fantastic. The Faithfuls had a number of opportunities to pick up on the Traitors when they let things slip (Rachel "If I were a Faithful .... I mean a Traitor ...") but they didn't twig.

I thought the last mission was nail-biting! Even round the fire pit I thought Stephen was going to vote Rachel out, and felt so pleased that they stuck to their promise. It's what I hoped they would do.

I have loved this series the most, but will give the Traitors Ireland a try and see how I get on.

J52 Sat 24-Jan-26 10:26:49

I enjoyed it although I am suspicious of the outcome. There were opportunities for the Traitors to be exposed, but none of the faithfuls picked them up.
It was interesting that Jade kept a matrix on who had been voted against at the round table and knew that Rachel and Stephen had few votes and hadn’t voted for each other. She kept putting forward Rachel’s name in conversation.
