Anyone up for a Traitors thread?

Allira*. I actually live in Wales, so can usually tell one accent from another. Fiona said she came from Swansea. Putting on a Cardiff accent I think.

Aveline Sun 11-Jan-26 13:57:49

She's just so attention seeking and overacting. Murder Jessie asap. Please!

nanaK54 Sun 11-Jan-26 12:49:36

Allira

Aveline

I'd murder Jessie at once for being irritating!

Yes, I'd get rid of her.

Noooooooo - stop it (!) she is my firm favourite grin

Allira What do you mean ‘the correct Welsh way* ?
With names like Rhys, Rhodri, Rhiannon, the h isn’t sounded. I wonder if Fiona came from the valleys.

Well, that's how Fiona pronounced it.

There's more than one Welsh accent (as I've pointed out before!) 😁

I have a cousin called Rhiannon, know a couple of others and know a Rhodri and the h isn't pronounced but that is how Fiona said Hrees!

I am looking forward to this version too, if only for the 'crack' and views of Ireland. It's on BBC 1 late.

I see that the Irish version is presented by Siobhan McSweeney. I like her on the Pottery Throwdown, so can imagine she will do well with her cheeky side. It is nice to have a future show to look forward to.

I think all this they must be related to each other is just nonsense and silly. I could be wrong, but why would the producers do that? It isn't as if they are sort of applicants.

Sparklefizz Sun 11-Jan-26 08:18:09

I agree Aveline. She's so melodramatic, throwing herself on the ground etc. Jessie and Fiona are my 2 most irritating contestants.

I like that idea Keeleklogger

Matthew is playing with fire by not only asking to be recruited but also wanting to murder another Faithful. He can't be trusted either way which makes him a liability in the long run if he were recruited.

I would do the opposite murder Matthew and recruit Jessie

Allira you get all sorts of spellings these days.

But she pronounced it in the correct Welsh way and his had no 'h' in it.

Well we know she isn't Reece's mum because of the Traitors Uncloaked appearance... last night. Reece has little trace of her very obvious Welsh accent.

I wouldn't think a Welsh woman would spell Rhys as Reece!

No.

I did wonder if Amanda could be Reece's mother. She said she is lesbian but lesbians are mothers.

Thank God Fiona didn’t say she was representing the Welsh.

nanaK54 Sat 10-Jan-26 15:27:25

Oh no don't murder Jessie, she is my firm favourite!

Visgir1 Sat 10-Jan-26 15:06:10

I'm sure too there will be more twists and turns, this years has been great.

I'm in the Fiona is definitely not representing a certain age group. She just comes across as feeble and pathetic, totally insulting to that age group. Is she really like that or she's just good at being a Drama queen, who's judgement has been well off.
She totally miss read the room in the end... Good!

For those of us who like our Traitors, the first 'Traitors Ireland' will start after this one. It is set to air Saturday 24th January at midnight with second episode an hour later. Presumably it will be on catch up. I gather RTE has already shown it. I shall be watching it as I grew up over there and still have family there.
