Mojack26....like you I can't stand Banjo
Either . He comes across as selfish and spoilt. His partner seems to do all the hard manual work. That said i'm enjoying the process of the renovation of the house.

I watched all 30 episodes of Hugh’s The Great House Revival. He was passionate about bringing life back into old buildings. What I liked about it was that it always followed the progress of the restoration, no matter how long it took and it covered the pandemic period with all the challenges it caused. His advice was invaluable. Ever since I ‘ discovered’ him whenever I watch a house renovation programmes I always think to myself ‘ what would Hugh do’.

I have binge watched the series. I love seeing old buildings put back to good use. Someone before me mentioned Hugh Wallace. Sadly he died before Christmas. Such a loss.

I’ve just binge watched it. I love programmes like that. I’m still worried about the dog, though. They said he’s going to be ok but I needed more information about what had been wrong with him. My only criticism is I can’t quite see in detail how each room has been dressed ( if that makes sense). I kept thinking of what advice my favourite designer, the late, great Hugh Wallace would have given them. I binge watched his series about restoring old Irish houses and his advice to people was excellent.

High Wallace has died?! Oh no, he was fantastic, I loved his programmes, and him! RIP

Happened justbefore Christmas. I only discovered him recently and have watched everything possible that he has been in. Came across as the warmest, kindest, funniest person. I don’t think he was very well known outside of Ireland but after watching his great house revival series I found lots of his Irelands Home of the Year programmes on utube. I still get upset thinking about him and from a purely selfish point of view was looking forward to seeing him in new programmes. I’m sure that everyone that has ever been involved with him is distraught.I absolutely loved him.

Love Bango, Ro and Grampa too.

I have so much admiration for them for sinking their money in this. It is a true labour of love.

We binged the last 3 episodes 🤗 Beautifully filmed and paced, with a lovely soundtrack too. All the people who work with them are so nice.

I see from the programme’s Instagram account that it is hugely popular. So fingers crossed for a second series, there’s a lot of work still to do.

This is such a treat to watch, it's Banjo Beale and partner and dog in the Hebrides (Ulva) resurrecting a dilapidated building with the help of locals. Beautiful, beautiful scenery and a whole lot of love and goodwill. All episodes on BBC iPlayer.
