New thread.

Doodledog how could anybody miss that creep? I have a nasty feeling Todd is not out of the firing line of fists and nastiness yet.

Most of the stories don't ring true. This Megan one for starters. I wish she would take Theo with her when she goes, soon, I hope.

There have been instances of teachers grooming pupils. Thankfully, not that many but it happens. Comeuppance on the horizon for Megan, I think. I shall enjoy that.

If only Todd spoke to someone about how Theo has treated him.

If only Sam told someone about how Megan has been treating him.

It’s good to talk.

On a lighter note, how many times do we see Christina dusting and polishing the same bit of desk/table in the undertaker’s?

Usually wearing an apron.

I actually like the drama of today as opposed to the comical situations of yesteryears
Can’t wait for Megan to go, I understand why they have highlighted it, but it’s unrealistic, although Will is a tall boy he doesn’t look more than 15 and Megan doesn’t come across as a teacher, so I think they are miscast
She’s horrible and needs to hook up with Carl and both disappear into the sunset
I have a feeling Theo will go out with a bang not sure what though
Charleygirl I think the Theo/Todd story is very true to life and well acted by both
Megan and Will and Sam not so well done at all

I thought for one awful minute that Todd was going to ask Theo if they could start again. He must have forgotten the physical, never mind the mental abuse.

So did I, after he told George and Glenda that he missed him. I’m pleased he contained himself, for now, anyway.

I cannot bear to hear Theo's voice. When I listen to. him in the Archers he makes my skin creep. Hope he goes out of Corrie soon and beginning to wonder if anyone in it is sane now. Megan needs to go asap as Sam cannot stand much more, neither can I. We need more light hearted stories as too much food and gloom.

Yes, the Megan story is getting even more improbable. And why doesn't Sam just tell his dad or Leanne what's going on?

This is the week that Megan gets what's coming to her. Can't wait!

Good, good and good - what a horrible storyline this has been.

And now Theo is dropping poisonous gossip about George.

Why are Gary and Maria so pally with him all of a sudden?

At long last, we are finally finding out that Maggie and Jim have had a fling in the past (social media has been saying it for ages). So a knock on effect for relationships and health issues.

Have asked before, is Megan still pregnant? Surely she would be showing by now?

Charleygirl5 Wed 11-Mar-26 23:07:35

Unfortunately we definitely haven't seen the end of Theo. I only hope Todd doesn't "lose it" and severely injure him as to me he has been the innocent party all along.

Soon the prisons for men and women will be full of Corrie characters. Megan should end up there as well as Theo. I don't know what Jodie has done, but she may be on the waiting list eventually.

How can a backstreet lawyer with a tiny grubby office afford an Aston Martin? His fees must be astronomical!

harrysgran Wed 11-Mar-26 09:44:57

My thoughts are the same as yours Sarnia that's why. Maggie is pushing Lauren to get back with Will

I was so pleased to see that Todd finally showed some sense last night and didn’t run after Theo. The sooner he is gone the better!

When Todd got up to go to the door, I was shouting, "Let him go, just let him go". Theo will be back, nastier than ever.

Charleygirl5 Wed 11-Mar-26 08:56:04

I agree and George has his own problems trying to keep a dwindling business running.

Grannynannywanny Wed 11-Mar-26 08:52:07

I’m worried about what Todd will do to the vile Theo. Not that I care 2 hoots about Theo but I fear poor Todd will end up in court after a violent attack.

I was willing him on to tell Gary what was really going on last night but Gary was left none the wiser. If only Eileen was still around. She’d have picked up on it months ago and dealt with Theo.

I had to Google who Connie was!

Charleygirl5 Wed 11-Mar-26 08:44:34

Doodledog that is what I thought happened to Todd's salary. At least he will not have to take days off work because his face has been bruised. Theo will be back, I am sure.

I wish that female paedophile would take a bus somewhere and stay away. That script has been going on for too long.

How long is Connie supposedly staying with Carla and co.? It gets sillier as the weeks go by.

Aveline Wed 11-Mar-26 08:40:53

We complained about Hilda and her 'muriel' at the time though!
I think Todd is coming nicely to the boil and suspect fireworks soon.

I gave up East Enders because it was all so miserable.
Tonight, having watched Corrie since I was 8, I sadly switched it off. It's become such a crime- and misery - fest.

Yes, it's a shame, isn't it? Those who post here soldier on with the storylines and wonder what the scriptwriters have on their cornflakes. We look back fondly on the characters we could relate to and laugh with, not the murderers and bullies around every corner we have today.
There are unsavoury characters in real life but Corrie is overloaded with those who are plotting something unpleasant. Oh for the days of Hilda and her flying ducks.

Bukkie Tue 10-Mar-26 22:48:07

Sarnia - I think you are spot on with the MacDonald link.

Doodledog Tue 10-Mar-26 22:47:01

Where is Todd’s money? Has it been being paid into Theo’s account so he can ‘look after it’?

Charleygirl5 Tue 10-Mar-26 22:20:44

I hope that Theo stays away but being Corrie, I doubt it. I hope that Todd will now have some money in his pocket.
