New thread.

She has told them all who he was, so she has😀

Aveline Mon 06-Apr-26 08:13:00

Time for Liz to come back and have it out with Maggie!

Bukkie Mon 06-Apr-26 09:48:48

Yes Liz vs Maggie. I think Beverley Callard is fighting breast cancer though.

When did Ollie and Amy get back together?

What happened to his relationship with Lauren?

I think they have different writers who don’t liaise with the storylines.

Plus I realise Carl is creeping round Debbie to get more cash out of her, but didn’t he visit her in prison and say he was done with her? Now he’s all smiles and being her ‘son’ again!

And would Ronnie have let her go off to Freshco’s on her own like that? I don’t think so, they would have been keeping a better eye on her after her sudden release.

EllieAnne Mon 06-Apr-26 16:45:48

I’m confused with the Amy and Lauren thing too. And cousins can marry if they want to.

Aveline Mon 06-Apr-26 17:15:46

It's not ideal though and this, of course, Corrie and needs as many plot twists as possible.

vegansrock Mon 06-Apr-26 17:32:52

They aren't even full cousins are they?

Doodledog Mon 06-Apr-26 18:46:08

vegansrock

They aren't even full cousins are they?

No. If Steve and Ben are half brothers, and (so far as we know at this stage, at least) Tracey and Eva are unrelated then Amy and Ollie are half cousins. Not illegal and not incestuous as they weren't brought up together and met as adults.

Calendargirl Mon 06-Apr-26 21:36:43

Ollie isn’t Eva’s son though, is he, so she isn’t in the relationship equation?

And her daughter is not Ben’s child, they have no children together.

Ollie and Will are Ben’s sons, and the ex wife whose name I can’t recall.

As for Finlay, Maggie’s other son who we have never seen, I assume he is Alan’s, the one she pushed down the stairs.

🤷‍♀️

Doodledog Mon 06-Apr-26 21:55:20

Ah yes. As ever, I have a firm grasp of the incorrect 😂

sodapop Mon 06-Apr-26 22:01:21

Legally they can marry but probably unwise given the heredity illness in the family.

Charleygirl5 Mon 06-Apr-26 22:06:59

doodledog may I join your camp?

Doodledog Mon 06-Apr-26 22:15:46

Yes, if you’re daft enough 😀

I’m confused with the Amy and Lauren thing too. And cousins can marry if they want to.

Maggie wasn't keen on Ollie forming a relationship with Lauren because in Maggie's opinion, she isn't good enough for her grandson and is also a single Mum. Be careful what you wish for because Ollie then turns his attention to Amy. Maggie does a U-turn and starts singing Lauren's praises to Ollie because she knows that Ollie & Amy are cousins.

Poor Roy, kind hearted enough to give the awful Jodie a job, then she has no compunction about throwing a ‘sickie’ so she can watch films and eat popcorn with David.

How many workers does the cafe have?

Roy, Nina, Bernie, Jodie (occasionally), Shona, the Downs Syndrome lad whose name I can’t recall…..

Oh, and anyone who steps over the threshold and starts making butties at the drop of a hat, if they are a bit short staffed.

Bukkie Tue 07-Apr-26 16:36:59

Alex, he is Cathy's nephew. It always amuses me how they all just walk into jobs without references, interviews, notice periods for previous jobs.

Aveline Tue 07-Apr-26 16:38:51

Also, no matter how provoked people are there's no swearing or bad language at all.

vegansrock Tue 07-Apr-26 16:41:59

No food hygiene training needed

Charleygirl5 Tue 07-Apr-26 19:38:39

veganstock all one has to do is to take off a coat and start work. All know how the till and coffee machine work, I wouldn't have a clue.

Aveline Tue 07-Apr-26 20:58:51

Debbie's interior designer should be shot! Her flat is absolutely hideous.

Charleygirl5 Tue 07-Apr-26 21:33:06

I thought tonight's episode was dire.

nanaK54 Tue 07-Apr-26 22:09:34

I'm inclined to agree Charleygirl

Dylis Tue 07-Apr-26 22:43:28

It was excruciating to watch Debbie with the guests at the bar. I just wanted it to end!

Calendargirl Wed 08-Apr-26 07:05:16

Yes, the Debbie incident was completely OTT.

Ryan should have called Ronnie to come in and deal with it.

BlueBelle Wed 08-Apr-26 07:15:16

I love Debbie and her acting but that was NOT good tonight Debbie totally over acted and it was all so unbelievable
I didn’t enjoy it either
I watch Emmerdale too and I m sure Graham a character in there mentioned Jodie tonight so maybe we are close to learning about why she was tied up in the van
