New thread.

I rather hope Jodie goes, as I think she is awful.

She still didn’t explain why she was in David and Shona’s bed, after her ‘supposed’ shower. Surely she has her own bed in that overcrowded house?

Wouldn’t have fancied bedding down with a drunken David personally.

He sobered up pretty quick!

Oh, and apart from a quick mention of Shona going to say good night to the baby, they don’t seem too fussed about little Harper anymore!

Jodie has tried to entice David into some sort of sexual encounter before. It isn't that she fancies David but she's trying to hurt Shona as revenge for leaving her behind when she left the family home. Jodie ending up in David & Shona's bed was a result of finding the letter she sent her, the letter Shona swears blind she never received.

I am pleased to read it is not only my addled brain that is not 100% certain what is going on.

I agree, I would be happy to see Jodie leave, anywhere and soon.

I just want Todd to be okay.

Grannynannywanny Thu 30-Apr-26 09:12:54

My brain is struggling to keep up. I hate flash backs/forwards in programmes.

Jodie seemed to be riled by the mention of the “little dog”. Presumably it was mentioned in the letter Shona claimed she’d never received and she wouldn’t have otherwise known about the dog.

Did you just notice Todd walking behind George?!

I had to rewind to double check. Think the writers are playing us!

No it's the same day playing out over and over (does that make sense?)

Good one tonight, that Megan is just detestable, get her Ma Driscoll!

Are we going to get an answer tomorrow?

Or perhaps they will drag it all out until Christmas grin

JenniferEccles Thu 30-Apr-26 22:46:26

We’ve been told that Betsy discovers a body tomorrow ( Friday) but tracking down the killer will probably be drawn out.

Surely the deceased has to be either Theo or Carl?

Allsorts Fri 01-May-26 05:51:21

I find the three witches, sorry sister’s a joke now, could Michelle get more grim and contorted. Every woman in it and most of the men are seriously unhinged. Poor Sam rapidly going down hill along with the rest. Oh for the days when soaps were entertaining and with humour running through them.

BlueBelle Fri 01-May-26 07:20:18

What am I watching I didn’t see Sam in it last night !!!

Calendargirl Fri 01-May-26 07:25:41

Michelle Allsorts?

Think you must mean Eva?

BlueBelle yes, Sam was there with Toyah, he saw the sisters drag Megan from the flat and thought they had killed her.

Then was in tears at how mixed up he was.

Maybe you closed your eyes for a minute? wink

Charleygirl5 Fri 01-May-26 07:43:09

I would love Theo and Carl to go but I doubt if I will be so lucky.

This was meant to be an exciting week, I missed that somewhere.

It has been advertised who will be bumped off but not who does it.

Aveline Fri 01-May-26 08:41:08

Ridiculous episode. The three daft sisters. What could their plan actually have been? They had no leverage over Megan. I really don't care about that storyline. They can all go as far as I'm concerned. Also Jodie. Yawn.
I'm only interested In Todd getting away safely.
The crazy camera angles were irritating too. Very poor week all round.

nanaK54 Fri 01-May-26 09:44:29

Agree the 'crazy camera angles' were very irritating.

Bananarama/lipstick lynch mob less so grin

sodapop Fri 01-May-26 12:26:17

I agree about the camera angles it was annoying. Have to admit to 'go girl' moment when Toyah whacked Megan. Not that I am advocating violence you understand.

Jodieb Fri 01-May-26 18:24:41

NanaK54 Aah, like they have been doing in beginning of the programme. Hope they drop that soon.

Calendargirl Fri 01-May-26 20:45:51

Well, it’s half time, Friday night.

Is everyone else as muddled as I am?

confused

Aveline Fri 01-May-26 21:01:01

Another mish mash of an episode. So far Carl, Sarah Lou,Maggie and Theo unconscious. A busy night in store for Wethy General or even George's business!

nanaK54 Fri 01-May-26 21:04:22

Totally confused here.

I hope there is no significance in George changing his jumper

Charleygirl5 Fri 01-May-26 21:16:39

I thought it was my addled brain but perhaps not. We need an hour's episode to attempt to make some sense.

Primrose53 Fri 01-May-26 21:32:32

Just too much stuff in one Street going on tonight. Ridiculous.

Yes, I wondered why his jumper change was mentioned - obviously it's a clue (otherwise why mention it?). Oh dear 🙄

JenniferEccles Fri 01-May-26 22:48:38

Yes I also picked up on George’s change of jumper.
Could be a red herring though.

Was it Theo who drunken Betsy discovered?

Lovetopaint037 Sat 02-May-26 02:34:47

It certainly looked like Theo. I hope he has kicked the bucket. Can’t stand the thought of any more psychopathic behaviour with that evil grin.

vegansrock Sat 02-May-26 05:30:56

So its either Theo, Carl, Megan, Jodie or Maggie?
Lets hope its all of them.

BlueBelle Sat 02-May-26 07:13:12

Calandergirl you’re right I must have nodded off it was soooo riveting !!!
I m not enjoying all this daftness I m another who hope all five of them go
I do not think this is the writers finest hour at all and starting at 8 and only half an hour doesn’t suit me at all( I know it’s not all about me but to me it much more bitty this way)
I think it’s Theo this time but hopefully the others will all follow him The only thing is if it’s Theo, then Billy s death will be unresolved for Summer

Doodledog Sat 02-May-26 07:45:40

I agree about the timing. I’ve started watching at 7.00am, as I am often awake then, or at the traditional time of 7.30pm. I might start watching an ‘omnibus edition’ at the weekend by running the ad-free (ITVx) ones back to back. Without the ads it will be less than 2 hours, and it would free up my evenings for other things.
