New thread.

Abi and Alfie could just move back to Kevin’s, and be ‘lodgers’.

Problem solved. Especially as she still works at the garage. Well, I think she does, no one ever seems to be doing much there.

When was it decided Doran would live permanently with Ty and Fiz? Does his mum never see him now?

🤷‍♀️

Aveline Sat 04-Jul-26 07:01:09

It will have been written and then filmed months ago

BlueBelle Sat 04-Jul-26 04:42:26

Strange time of year to bring in a storyline about damp bedrooms …in the middle of a heatwave

Calendargirl Fri 03-Jul-26 21:24:58

Well, Megan found guilty, thank goodness.

Will Corrie still be on the go in 40 months time when she gets released (2/3 of her 5 year sentence)? Ready to get revenge on the Driscolls?

Meanwhile, the next storyline is obviously going to be damp, mouldy flats and bad landlords (Idris).

More misery.

Calendargirl Fri 03-Jul-26 19:15:49

I would have expected Megan to be banned from getting in touch with Will whilst the trial was ongoing.

Yes, Will should have pulled out his phone, taken her picture and started recording her.

Adam will be persona non grata when all this is over, especially if she gets off.

Massive gaps! I’m pretty sure there’d be CCTV covering the playground as well, considering all the goings-on there’ve been there, including at least one murder.

Charleygirl5 Fri 03-Jul-26 12:48:00

Why was Megan allowed out to walk the streets and attack Will verbally and physically? Why was he not recording it on his phone?

Sam isn't fit to go to court, but Nick should have told Sam's story to the solicitor. I am sure none of us are legally trained, but we can see huge gaps on it.

I’m surprised Will’s ‘brief’ hasn’t done more digging into Megan’s shady past.

Surely they would have investigated more into her past job in Hull, and then maybe found out about the other lad who she groomed?

Also would have thought Daniel might have been called to give evidence how he was used as a cover for her goings on, the phone calls etc.

And even if Will had deleted all their past calls, can’t the police retrieve stuff like that now, and see how she and Will’s relationship took place?

(Am I getting too involved, do you think?)

confused

I thought that too. When Will was saying that Megan had engineered a sexual relationship then why didn't he mention his 16th birthday treat of a night with her at the Chariot Square Hotel? I think Sam was the one who knew about the boy from Hull. I hoped he would find the courage to go to court and give evidence saying just that.

Does anyone else think that Megan will get off. The trial reported in the media which then brings forward other young boys she has abused….just to keep the story being dragged out 😳

Calendargirl Thu 02-Jul-26 11:36:09

How old is Harry now? He looked nearly as tall as his mum.

I hope Sally’s foster kids remain in the cupboard, they and Brody add nothing to the show. I suppose it’s to emphasise how a loving home can transform a child.

Let’s hope Betsy and her brown hair disappear off to Fashion College in London, taking Dylan with her.

Megan’s mother couldn’t act very well.

Bukkie Thu 02-Jul-26 08:32:30

Bluebelle - I am enjoying no Gemma, long may it last. I love Susie, she is a great child actress. Her real life brother who plays Jake is equally good. Sally's young foster kids will be in the childcare cupboard alongside Frankie, Glory, Alfie and the colouring quads. Harry has only just emerged after 10 years. And surely Harper must be coming home soon or is she just starting school in September?

BlueBelle Thu 02-Jul-26 07:11:51

I thought Adams hair looked better last night 🤣( he of many styles)
I ll be glad when this is over
Gemma’s been missing a while have you noticed ?
Little Suzie ( rovers child is that her name) is an excellent child actor very natural, beats most of the older ones into a cocked hat ?
What’s happened to Sallys charges does she still have them ?
Hope Jodie goes soon

Calendargirl Thu 02-Jul-26 06:33:50

I know it’s been brought up before, but is Adam entitled to wear a wig in court? 🤷‍♀️

Let’s face it, he’s a back street solicitor who conducts most of his consultations in the Rovers or Roy’s Rolls, and they mostly consist of neighbours falling out with each other or giving out free advice on endless marital problems. Oh, and the odd murder, of course.

Hardly Rumpole of the Bailey, or Kavanagh QC.

Lovetopaint037 Thu 02-Jul-26 01:04:59

I do hope Tim will rise to the occasion and give Will some good advice. It was obvious he wasn’t going to have his father being held responsible for his problems.Megan had made a big mistake. Only hope she will get her comeuppance sooner than later. Can’t stand these drawn out dramas. As for Sam - would be great if he charges into court and makes a statement about Megan’s behaviour and threats to him. Come on Will and Sam, throw her to the wolves.

Charleygirl5 Wed 01-Jul-26 21:41:29

Knowing his family's feelings about his court behaviour, I think he will crawl back to the solicitor and with luck be heard again as a witness. That is the only way to get Meghan locked up.

Sarnia Wed 01-Jul-26 07:45:57

Sarah has met her match with Jodie who knows Sarah is hiding something because of the wrong timings she gave Swain.
I think Will will be given another chance in court too.
Mary grates on me. Either give her a storyline of her own or send her on a one-way ticket somewhere, anywhere.

8.15 pm tonight for an hour is what I read. I can only take each day as it comes. Long gone re the days when IU could set the recorder.

BBC1 was apparently in a dilemma tomorrow, Wednesday. They were considering showing England playing on BBC i playet only and leave the two channels to tennis. I think there would be a national riot if it wasn't shown so they have thought twice. Sorry I was diverted.

I wish Betsy, Jodie, Mary and Carl would share a taxi but no luck there.

Aveline Tue 30-Jun-26 08:48:45

I just set the recorder and try to watch an episode at its usual time if possible.

nanaK54 Tue 30-Jun-26 08:40:18

Think it might be Corrie at 8:15 and 8:45 this evening (Tuesday) and 7:45 tomorrow (Wednesday) and 7:45 Thursday and 8:15 Friday possibly/maybe!!!

Nannee49 Tue 30-Jun-26 07:30:38

According to the Radio Time's details for tonight - Tues. 30th June - Emmerdale's on at 7.15, Corrie at 7.45

Charleygirl5 Mon 29-Jun-26 09:53:26

Vera is starting at 8.35pm why not 9.05pm and fit in Corrie?

Aveline Mon 29-Jun-26 08:37:38

Blimey Vera? I quite like Vera but I've seen them all quite recently. Goodness knows what substitutions we'll be having over the next few weeks.

FindingNemo15 Mon 29-Jun-26 07:43:57

Thanks for previous info re Corrie. Now I am wonderding about Emmerdale. Sport has taken over.

Charleygirl5 Mon 29-Jun-26 07:13:12

I don't understand why our programme is not on tonight, and it is Vera instead. Are they trying to lose viewers by haphazard programming?
