New thread.

I thought for a moment last night Todd was going to ask Summer if she killed Theo.

Sarnia Fri 15-May-26 11:47:35

Dylis

Why on earth would an (unnamed) University in the US be headhunting Summer?

Wasn't she already accepted by an American university but chose to defer due to Paul's MND? Maybe they have asked what her plans are concerning them and she now decided to go.

It's interesting to include a storyline involving a youngster hearing voices and hallucinating. Perhaps there's quite enough going on in Corrie at the moment without another big story though?

I’m sad they are evolving Sam like they are,

He had a lot to contend with, losing his mum, but he was always such a bright, mature lad for his age.

I think he would know to share how he’s feeling with all the caring adults around him.

Instead, he’s yet another victim of the writers wanting to dredge up these depressing storylines for one and all.

Why can’t they show that getting help and support in the early stages will make things so much better?

BlueBelle Fri 15-May-26 07:07:45

I quite like Will I think his acting has come on a lot and yes I think it was lovely when Tim and Steve took him out for a curry
Sam really gets on my nerves, I know he’s everyones favourite,
but he’s always grated on me, probably that whispery voice, but he’s never seemed a real character to me, he was ok when he was small and playing chess with Roy but now he just irritates

Aveline Fri 15-May-26 06:39:04

Sam must just appear to Toyah as a typical teenager - busy with his own stuff and wanting to be left alone.

nanaK54 Thu 14-May-26 22:08:31

Aww poor Sam sad

I rather liked Uncle Steve and Tim taking Will out for a curry!

vegansrock Thu 14-May-26 21:38:17

Why doesn't Toyah. Recognise Sam needs urgent help? I thought she used to be a counsellor. But no doubt Wethy General will offer immediate psychiatric help - Aisha got treated and shes fine now.

vegansrock Thu 14-May-26 13:44:32

Did Jodie pick up Shona’s leather jacket? ( they seem to have the same one). Is Sam having a psychotic episode? Has Will got any expression other than miserable?

I hope Daniel doesn’t present her with Sinead’s dressing gown to wear round the house.

She can wear Ken’s slippers to finish the outfit off.

For an educated man, Daniel is a prize idiot.

I have to admit that was my thought too😢.

Charleygirl5 Wed 13-May-26 19:05:54

Please no, I can't stand the sight of her.

Bukkie Wed 13-May-26 14:34:05

NanaK - My first thought too! It won't be long before Jodie is Bertie's new nanny.

Sarnia Wed 13-May-26 13:21:51

I hope Nick, Toyah and Leanne soon realise that Sam is heading for some sort of breakdown. Perhaps Roy may be more aware of what Sam is going through.

Charleygirl5 Wed 13-May-26 12:04:32

She soon will be raking through the drawers in that house. A common thief.

nanaK54 Wed 13-May-26 11:55:22

Aveline

Jodie is just irritating. I cant believe Daniel just accepted her

Did she threaten to 'blow his cover'?

I do wish she would just 'go away' too but no doubt she will soon be doing the Bertie school run!

Charleygirl5 Wed 13-May-26 10:02:24

I wish Jodie had gone to the airport and flown anywhere, no return but she has no money.

That programme gets worse but I was pleased she was caught and not curled up in bed upstairs, waiting for Ken.

nanaK54 Tue 12-May-26 21:00:38

Oooh that was quite good - well done Tim!

Jodieb Tue 12-May-26 15:41:22

Daniel is the most boring character. His roles seem to be Ground Hog Day.

Nannee49 Tue 12-May-26 14:16:34

It's the wry comments on here that keep me watching as much as the often dire programme itself.

Calendargirl Tue 12-May-26 13:20:28

Well, no one seems to be working at the undertaker’s, apart from Chrissy, who is forever polishing that desk.

Nothing else, mind, just that one.
