It annoys both my oh and me by the time they have finished don't have to watch the program .

Am I the only one who finds the introductions to some programmes annoying? Why do we need to see snippets from the entire series at the start of every programme in a series? Whatever happened to a short title intro with a theme tune and the name of the presenter?
