Matlock - KATHY BATES - NOW TV

I didn't really enjoy the pilot episode of Matlock so didn't watch any more.
Since reading this thread I thought I'd take another look.
Yep, am enjoying it and yes Kathy Bates does it well

LOVE This series. Kathy Bates is excellent… The continuation of last series seems a little stretched, but they include an individual legal problem every week anyway and I love the characters. Well worth a watch in my view, particularly if you are into cozy crime legal dramas or similar. WORTH IT JUST FOR KATHY Bates acting.

I loved the first half dozen episodes, then fell out of love with it when... no, I won't spoil it. She was solving a personal mystery - how can there be a second series?
