There are a few TV series and films that I never get tired of rewatching because you always notice something new each time. Having a reliable streaming app makes it much easier to revisit favorite content without hassle. Recently I've been using Youcine Apk youcinedownlod.com/ movie and TV series streaming app for Android devices to keep track of shows and rewatch some of my all-time favorites. It's interesting how certain stories remain entertaining no matter how many times you watch them.

Game, Set and Match (Len Deighton). A very poor DVD as LD wouldn’t let it be shown as he didn’t like it. Maybe now he has died a new series may be made.

Films: just about any Ealing comedy but the absolute favourite is definitely "Kind Hearts and Coronets" with Dennis Price and starring Alec Guiness playing several roles.

One of my absolute favourites.

Plus ‘The Ladykillers’, (the original, of course).

Do you ever wish you could erase a particular show from your mind, so you could have the joy of watching it afresh again?

Don't worry, lots of us are going to have that joy eventually.

I should make a list of favourite films I want to watch " for the first time" in the old folks home.

I have recently rewatched This Is Us, Peaky Blinders, Lark Rise To Candleford, Sense And Sensibility - the 2008 version and Sanditon. I have watched The Wizard Of Oz many times with my older granddaughter.

I'd love to see 'Meeting Venus' again, a 1990s film with a rather satiric story about Grand Opera. It starred Glenn Close and the French (yes) actor Niels Arestrup, but it's never shown on TV. The music is beautiful and the operatically trained Close was going to sing in the role herself, but (like poor Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady) another singer was dubbed at the last minute.

I've just watched Sound of Music for the umpteenth time.

My youngest daughter has headed off to Salzburg and Vienna and they're going on the Sound of Music tour.

Her husband had never seen it so we had a viewing.

I've seen Jaws more times than I can remember. Quite besotted with it when a teen when it came out.

And all 3 of James Dean's films.

These days, I don’t watch fiction.
I watch Documentaries on any subject.
For light entertainment, I watch the old comedy duos, like The Two Ronnies, Open All Hours.
Not so keen on Morecambe and Wise.

Harris27 Thu 28-May-26 18:36:22

My boys always find it funny that when they call I’m still watching’ heartbeat’ and Mary berry cooking is always a favourite. I also have a hidden penchant for Christmas films even in July!

Betony

I'm watching the re-run of 'A Very Peculiar Practice' on BBC Four and still find it hilarious. Although, I did catch myself gasping at the amazingly sweet and youthful Peter Davison and thinking: 'Blimey, he's David Tennant's father in law now'!

I saw it the other night. But was disappointed to find that it was filmed at Keele University as I always thought it was Salford where my husband studied. I loved it at the time. I love anything with Barbara Flynn in ( must rewatch The Beiderbecke Affair/Tapes). Have resolved to rewatch The Lord of the Rings films. Keep seeing snippets on instagram and remembering how much I loved them…but wonder if I should buy the directors cut version.
