I did watch Celebrity Bake Off at Christmas because it had some of the people from Peep Show, and I quite enjoyed it. Then watched an older one with Derry Girls. But, in general I don’t watch things like that. But must admit to watching Made in Chelsea, even though it’s absolutely dire these days; I’ve watched it from the early days and it’s just got to be a bit of a habit. I do binge watch home makeover/decluttering programmes, too. And I do watch Gogglebox and First Dates if I’m channel hopping and they happen to be on. If that happens I always have to find out if the couples choose to see each other again in First Dates.

Creative textiles "household chores" Have you actually seen Sewing Bee? Its a hobby based popular programme with a bit of interesting competition thrown in,
Its about the only one of the above I like, as I'm not bothered about the others.

I would watch Strictly as its pleasure to watch good dancing ad seeing people "coming along" but all the hoo-ha stuff round it drives me absolutely spare.

This is all music to my ears. I thought it was only me who couldn't stand these cookery, sewing, repair shop, etc etc programmes. Since when were household chores considered entertainment and not boring drudgery. It's just cheap TV made to sell off to other TV companies. I crave, quality drama, music of every genre type of programmes. So refreshing to realise it's not just me. Suggestion for another of these awful programmes? "Celebrity Toilet Cleaning". grin

I'm not interested in Bake Off (or any cookery programmes) or Britain's got Talent. I enjoyed Celebrity Traitors because it was light hearted, for charity and friendly, whereas I don't like the non-celebrity Traitors because the aim is for people to be pitted against each other for a large amount of money. For similar reasons I don't watch Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity - or any reality programme where people are demeaned. I used to like Sewing Bee (though I can't even sew on a button!) am not quite so keen now.

I think it's good that there is a variety of programmes to suit different people but I feel uncomfortable about ones that have a spiteful/nasty element.

Have watched all of them on and off over the years but totally love Traitors 😍

BGT Britain's Got Talent

I went back to the last Strictly after something like a 5 year break, only because flicking channels I saw one of the dancers, Lewis something or other doing the Charleston. He and his partner got straight 10s. I thought wow! they're fantastic. I stuck with it because I thought he's got to win, but he didn't sad I still can't stand those stupid interludes they have between the actual dances.

I haven't watched Bake Off for a while now, mainly because I forget to.

I have not watched any of them either. They just don’t appeal. What is BGT please?

I believe it is Britain’s Got Talent.

I've always watched Strictly, but this year's was disappointing and I don't think I'll bother again. I didn't watch The Traitors but I knew my daughter and grandson really like it so I watched the celebrity version. Now I'm completely hooked. I've always watched Bake Off and Sewing Bee because they always have interesting competitors, but I don't watch the Pottery Throwdown or any of the talent competitions,

Haven’t watched Strictly or Bake Off for years and have never watched Traitors. I don’t watch any soaps either

It means I miss out on a lot of chat as I have no idea what people are getting so excited about! 😂

You are not alone I don’t watch any of those programmes either. Have no interest in them. When I meet with the family or friends they ask if I watch so-and -so and when I say no they say I must watch it.
No thanks.
I much prefer nature documentaries or doing a jigsaw.
Each to their own.

Never seen sewing Bee, I hate sewing. I've never watched Traitors although I'm regretting that, because I feel I've probably missed something worthwhile. I've only seen BGT fleetingly once or twice.

It’s all what takes your fancy. I’ve watched one of Bake Off, and Sewing Bee and that was enough. I’ve never watched Traitors so I don’t know if I’d like it I used to enjoy Strictly and BGT but haven’t bothered with them recently.
On the other hand I’ve never watched Big Brother or I’m a celebrity get me out of here.
