I’ve just read that Jack Lowden (River Cartwright in Slow Horses) has been chosen to play the part of Bernie Gunther from the books of the late Philip Kerr.
Colin Firth has been cast as a fellow detective (his name eludes me).
I’m really looking forward to this, I haven’t read all the BG books but have really enjoyed those that I have read and often thought they’d make excellent viewing if they were filmed.
