Just finished watching on BritBox too Llamedos13 . Such great characters and acting! I have a yearly subscription to BritBox because I can't stand watching most American TV and there isn't a lot of dramas worth watching produced in Canada. The UK shows are interesting stories, usually quite amazing scenery and the interiors and characters are not plumped up and perfect but look and act like real people. And no commercials! I hope Riot Women Season 2 doesn't take too long to air.

I loved Riot Women too, so good. A group of ordinary women entering their local school talent contest for fun and ending up forming a punk rock band!

best thing I watched on tv for ages, I laughed , I cried, and completely relate to those women in so many ways

On AmzP I'm enjoying the Canadian series 'Detective McLean' which is set in B.C. and known in Canada etc under the title 'Ties That Bind'.

Sadly only one series. A shame as the stories and premise is rather unusual and interesting.

It was a wonderful series so I hope Riot Women will be back soon.

I watched the first two, but thought it was a bit OTT and a poor copy of Rock Follies

Loved it. Big fan of writer Sally Wainwright. Cast was superb.

Look for further Sally Wainright written shows on Britbox if you enjoyed Riot Women . She also wrote Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax. Both have quite a few series. She writes as people speak in real life. I am in the UK and not sure if they are on Britbox

Our son was a camera intern on the series. Graduated with a first in film-making just six weeks previously. Enjoyed every minute, said the cast were lovely 😊
