James Bond is dead isn’t he?

Amazon, has bought the rights to the JB franchise but does not yet have a script. They have said JB is likely to be played by a man and it is rumoured thatAaron Pierre is a leading contender for the role.
How do people think that they will get around the fact that JB died in the last film and that possibly he will be resurrected as a black man?
My thoughts are that the this new JB will be , a hitherto unknown, son who is now grown up and is following in his father’s footsteps. Any other suggestions?

He has walked away from similar incidents, declared dead once before and reappeared when M was in trouble, so it really is anyone’s guess 🤷‍♀️

Anybody can be resurrected, I mean look at Bobby Ewing in Dallas. That’s if anyone can remember the storyline.
A white JB dying and a black JB being resurrected is a bit odd though. I thought they would need a look alike.

I do remember Bobby's tragic death; years later he emerges from the shower a bit wet. Apparently his death funeral, family/widow heartbreak etc were all just a collective bad dream.

I bet James Bond got pretty tired of being a global male sex symbol ; inside, he always secretly felt different, more womanly.

His corpse gets resurrected as a transwoman.
" The name's Bond, Miss Bond. "

I wish they'd remake some of the Connery Bonds, but try to keep them as close to the orginals and not fill them with CGI and gadgets.

If they're rebooting, they'll probably go for a younger actor and come up with an "origin" story. The Star Wars franchise now seems to be going on forever with various sequels, prequels and TV series. I wouldn't be surprised if Bond goes the same way.

I wish we could see the back of him. I have never seen a JB film, but I did try and read one of the books and I was revolted by the level of misogyny in it.
