Will you be watching Claudia’s show?

^I almost wanted a dog to snap at her (yes im ashamed of myself)

So did I. A swift nip!!

This was the first year I havnt watched crufts all the way through. She spoilt it for me.
That interview with the creep who owned the Clumber was ever so slightly iffy.

Oh, didn't watch in full, just on the news.
Oh dear.

Claudia epitomises the saying: a jokes a joke but f@@@ a pantomime😂

I have read that Claudia has a good reason for that fringe.

If your eyesight is poor why would you wear your fringe so it practically covers your eyes to make it worse?

Nope. I’m already under warning 😱

😂

No. Dislike her style. I find the constant self-deprecation a great turn-off ànd the fringe a great affectation.

Pray tell, Lathyrus3 😉😂

You don't have to have gone to a private school to go to Oxford or Cambridge!

Nor does going to a private school guarantee a top class education.

The tales I could tell! 😬

I can’t really envisage her having a “chat”, more an interrogation😬. But perhaps that’s going to be the format rather than Graham Norton’s relaxed style.

He does know how to get people feeling they’re in a private conversation. He even got the famously private and spikey Harrison Ford chatting to him as if he was a mate.

I don’t think that will be Claudia’s forte somehow.

That's commendable, Allira. She doesn't come across as particularly intelligent, but I assumed that being Eve Pollard's daughter, and going to private school, she would have had a top class education.

TBH I didn’t even know there was one.
So no.

She looked so much better before the fringe. I find her really annoying, she must be very intelligent, but she likes to act the fool which detracts from what she is doing and talking about. She is on the telly on lots of different shows, hopefully it's a passing phase, they seem to do that with certain people, then you're sick of the sight of them 🙄.

she must be very intelligent

She has an MA in History of Art from Cambridge

I’m not keen on her and don’t like chat shows so definitely no.

I won't be watching it. The shallow world of those who consider themselves to be a celebrity leaves me cold.

Here's an early photo of her with her "horrible" forehead.

Claudia fan here, but not a fan of chat shows so I’ll be skipping this one.
notagran55 I also read ‘Quite’ and enjoyed it. It is written just as she speaks, very wry and self-deprecating.

Crufts? Not an area I thought she’d be comfortable with in any way so I was surprised to see her there at all.

If you watch any trailers of ‘Old’ Strictly programmes, her fringe was quite normal length back then.

I think she's terrific. A refreshing manner, self deprecating and very funny. I'm looking forward to her new show.

I always think that fringe would cause eye troubles.

Will Claudia actually be ABLE to watch her show? That darn fringe! I hope she doesn't drive - surely her hair limits her capacity to see beyond the windscreen to zilch?

No.
Saw her on Crufts.
Didnt think she was at all suitable for the job.

She gushed on Crufts.

What kind of show?
She's the new Graham Norton, I think, Lathyrus
Can anyone replace Graham?

She was good in Traitors.

I never make a point of watching The Graham Norton Show but if I do hit upon it whilst channel hopping I love it. He’s so good at what he does. The first time I became aware of Claudia Winkleman was when she took over a late night film review programme ( did she replace Barry Norman?). And she irritated me because I love films and I didn’t feel that she was a real enthusiast. It might be because of that that I’ve never really taken to her. I remember when Nigella Lawson hosted a daytime chat show that didn’t last long because there’s an art to interviewing people and not many people can do it well. I’ll probably watch this new show out of interest.
