Just watched this, and thought it was really well done. Worth a look on Channel 5 catch-up.

The royal propaganda machine is on overdrive hardly a day goes without some nonsense about them on tv as for the ads for royal coins…….if I see the one about Willie and Katie for their meeting at uni…Every day ,several times I,m tempted to throw something through the screen!
WHY are people spending money on stupid coins to celebrate a workshy couple ,he has had 13 engagements in over 4 months and she uses her health as an excuse at every turn .
Well matched parasites.

What a nasty post. I dont have much interest in the royal family but this post is hateful towards people you don't know personally.

I honestly think you come across as very bitter. How would you like your family insulted like you have the royal family. You can be a republican without being so vitriolic.

I completely agree with you, Rafichagran. An unpleasant post from someone who seems rather bitter and, I would hazard a guess, does not reflect the feelings of many GN’s, certainly not mine or yours. To make such a nasty jibe towards someone who has been ill and undergone cancer treatment, is particularly below the belt. Those of us who have witnessed the loss of loved ones who have had cancer and undergone aggressive treatment for it must find such unpleasant comments suggesting someone who has also experienced it are ‘using their health as an excuse at every turn’ particularly repugnant.
Whether a royalist or a republican, to use such viciousness in language expressed is totally uncalled for I think. Sadly, it seems to be the way of the world now, but it’s so easy to express such vitriol hidden behind a keyboard.

The TV phase has an off switch, paddyann.
Alternatively, there are any different channels with a plethora of programmes.

Not sure why you would keep watching ones you hate.
Is it to feed your wrath, nursing it to keep it warm?

What a strange thing to do.

Vile, isn't it. For those of who have watched family suffer and die and may have undergone treatment ourselves, it is particularly repugnant.

I have yet to see a pleasant post from this poster, though, so perhaps we should feel sorry rather than condemn, as she may be deeply unhappy herself.
