Yes he gets the odd mention but otherwise is invisible. He doesn't seem to need much care either.

It's like Martin in Eastenders was always in his bedroom, dud not see him for years.

I watch both Emmerdale and Corrie but even though I'm across the great Pennine divide I much prefer Emmerdale. There are are many silly storylines but when they get it right, as they did last night with, hopefully, the conclusion of Bear's ordeal, it makes for great viewing.

I thought it was very well acted, directed and very moving.

I know the same production team are apparently responsible for both soaps but think if there's mainly a Corrie crew they could do with a few lessons from the Yorkshire lot.

Why do the script writers bring in so many horrible characters? I’m having to fast forward all the scenes with dr Todd.

Dr Todd is a horrible character. I hope she gets her comeuppance soon. It’s unusual for someone to get the better of Charity.

Oh I hope you’re right sodapop. I hadn’t seen any spoilers and usually try to avoid them. I can think of one absent character who’d be up for the job. Fingers crossed!

Charity has always been the one to best anyone, surely they won’t allow the dreadful Dr. to get one over Charity!

Urgh! Dr Todd...she is horrible isn't she and mouthy Vanessa with her snap judgments is really getting on my nerves too.

Dr Todd what a nasty character I hope Charity can come up with a plan and as for Vannesa she's so stupid when it comes to relationships

I did watch Coronation Street for years but then switched to EastEnders so I watch two soaps but if it only had to be one it would be Emmerdale…
I like characters like Todd they bring a bit of spice to the soap, if soaps were just like ordinary villages it would be very very boring to watch…

I take your point Shinamae, evil characters like Dr. Todd, Ray, Celia etc do give the dark side to the light and shade a good soap needs.
Speaking of which, Dawn's getting herself in a proper pickle with evil Joe and creepy Graham on her case. Why, oh why, did she ever leave lovely Billy for him?

It was just too good to be true last week that Dawn, Moira and Belle were going to bring Joe down. I wonder if Kim is in on it with Joe and Graham or if she might come to Dawn’s rescue.

All that’s going on in the world and I’m pondering over this at breakfast time😂

I suppose it is a good distraction from real life.

Emmerdale is my preferred soap. I am enjoying it at the moment but do find that they drag the storylines on too long.

Emmerdale is on tomorrow evening to make up for the episode missed last night due to the football. Then there’s further disruption next week. It’s not on Tuesday or Thurs and not at usual times on the other evenings. I’ve attached a screenshot of the Emmerdale schedule which hopefully should be easily read when you click on it.

Why oh why can’t they have a separate channel for sport? Its annoying when they take all the normal programs off to make way for some particular sport
I’m a late comer to Emmerdale. I started watching it probably a couple of years ago and actually prefer it now to Coronation Street. I do like the characters in it. I agree Doctor Todd is horrible but she will be going soon and yes , you do have to have baddies, you can’t have all goodies.
I still haven’t worked the relationship out yet between Jodie in Corey and Graham in Emmerdale I don’t think the writers themselves know do they ?
I’m afraid I think the forthcoming romance between Ross and Laurel is a poor choice and doesn’t seem very real to me those two just don’t seem to go together and I find the Ross/ Sam dancing practice rather strange too, although I like Ross.
Does anyone know anyone outside of the village ?

I like Ross too BlueBelle he's a bit of a rogue but seemingly with a good heart underneath all that scalliness & I think his cheeky, irreverent wit lightens many a dull scene. Also, not too sure about the Ross/Laurel thing. She's a bit of a go-getter in a quiet way isn't she!

No real clue about the Jodie/Graham connection...is she a sleeper for MI5, is Graham her puppetmaster, what on Earth is the endgame and how long will it take to get there

Dr Todd makes my skin creep - good work to the actor who plays her. Isn't there a vacant bunker, recently evacuated by Mac, where she could cool her heels for a while and reflect on her heinous behaviour against Jacob (getting on my nerves a bit tbh) & Charity?

The vile Dr Todd sunk to a new low last night. Her behaviour was vile. I hadn’t read any spoilers and didn’t see that coming.
