Yessss! It's a damn good spin-off, as spin-offs frequently fall flat IMHO.

But I wish "Motherland" had continued. On the other hand maybe it finished at the right time before it started to become tired.

I enjoyed Motherland, it was something a bit different. I'm also looking forward to the return of Amandaland, there isn't a lot to laugh about at the moment, but that does make me giggle 😂.

Great. I’m looking forward to that. I did love Motherland and it’s a hard act to follow but, whilst not being in the same league Amandaland is still a good watch.

I liked Motherland but haven’t watched Amandaland as I found her such an annoying character.

I really enjoyed Amandaland and I’m looking forward to the new series.

I preferred motherland but Amanda land has its moments

I like it, I find her less irritating than I did in Motherland

I'm a fan and will be watching. I prefer it to Motherland which could be very annoying at times.

Amandaland has been much better than I thought it would be. think Motherland was slightly better because there were so many funny characters and different situations.

I’m loving the new series of Amandaland. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and trying to resist binge watching it all.

Poor Amanda’s lack of self awareness is cringeworthy but very funny. Anne was hilarious in episode 2.

Anne is the star of the show, really. It would be nothing without her.

I've just binged it and loved it too - Anne is so funny. I do miss Motherland though.

Love Joanna Lumley.

I’ve just found out that Anne wrote and starred in an Irish series called The Walshes which is no longer on catchup but on utube.
