Best Medicine

On the back of watching Best Medicine I have now watched every episode of Doc Marten plus the specials. I don't know why I never watched it but I absolutely loved it.

I almost morphed into Sally Tishell by the end.😆

I understand Martin Clunes appears in Best Medicine (Series 1) as the Father of Martin Best and will also appear in Series 2 which will be shown in the US in September. Hopefully we will get it here, next year I would guess

I never watch any series. I prefer something that has a beginning ,a middle and an end, all on the same day. The only series I watch are documentaries.

Woukd you rather watch episodes a week at a time or save them up to binge watch?

I watched the first 2 episodes today and enjoyed it. I never watched Doc Martin either but I thought Josh Charles was just the right side of grumpy so I'll stick with it.

I never watched Doc Martin so I can't make any comparisons but as soon as I saw Josh Charles was playing the Doctor it was a no brainer for me.

Quite enjoying it so far - what with this and Everwood and Virgin River - I seem to be following lots of medical professionals around the US who are moving from the big city to a small country place for a variety of personal reasons.

I saw this advertised and thought it’d give it a go and recognised a couple of the actors, Didi Conn (from Grease) and Annie Potts (from Young Sheldon). The storylines are similar to the original Doc Martin, but as Dominic Minghella is the creator of both it’s not surprising.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I quite enjoyed it and it’s been updated. I watched the first two episodes, but I am assuming that they are being shown in weekly episodes rather than streamed.
