Characters in movies/tv shows that are never seen?

For example in eastenders mo often mentions fat Elvis but we never see him
Also in the big bang theory Howard's mother we hear her voice but never see her
Any others?

In Coronation Street, Mary is always mentioning ‘Mother’, but no one has ever seen her.

And in ‘Keeping Up Appearances’, did we ever see Daddy?

And Sheridan the son. He was another one we never saw.

In Captain Scarlet, the Mysterons were never seen. Their voices were heard and accompanied by green rings.
