New thread.

Charleygirl5 Sun 30-Aug-26 07:46:07

I have checked with Alexa and today is Sunday apparently! Corrie is still on tonight!!!

Charleygirl5 Sun 30-Aug-26 07:42:35

Please note that Corrie is on tonight, Saturday, at the usual time, 8.30 pm/

Maggie and Brian could have gone to that one hotel room at the Chariot Square hotel.

Charleygirl5 Fri 28-Aug-26 22:17:41

I also wondered about her telephoning. When I have watched films of prisoners, they have been queuing to use one phone. I agree, Sarah appears to have full access.

sodapop Fri 28-Aug-26 21:29:16

Is Sarah on remand when the rules are different re phones. I would imagine there are only a limited amount of numbers she can call. That's my theory.

Calendargirl Fri 28-Aug-26 21:01:25

Can prisoners use the phone whenever they like?

Sarah seems to have exclusive use of one.

Calendargirl Fri 28-Aug-26 20:09:43

They don’t need money to buy drink in the Rovers as nine times out of ten, ‘it’s on the house’.

The pub must be haemorrhaging money.

BlueBelle Fri 28-Aug-26 18:56:03

Gosh Maggie and Brian didn’t make me laugh I don’t like either of them especially Brian
Where do they all get their money from for this constant drinking ?

Bukkie Fri 28-Aug-26 18:24:20

Brian lives alone so they could have gone to his flat.

Charleygirl5 Thu 27-Aug-26 23:06:07

I agree, that Brian and Maggie should have shared a hotel room. So many live in that house, one would think they would be sharing a room!! I also felt sorry for him. He has grown on me slowly.

We are due an hour's watching as we lost 30 minutes a few days ago, football taking over.

Bukkie Thu 27-Aug-26 18:04:28

NanaK54 - Me too, Maggie has grown on me. I felt sorry for Brian when he overheard her as he walked into the pub. I like a glass of red or two at the weekend but my word they don't half love a drink on The Street, Christina is another one always knocking it back.

nanaK54 Thu 27-Aug-26 16:29:14

I quite liked the Brian and Maggie situation, made me laugh grin

sodapop Thu 27-Aug-26 15:05:35

No don't go out Calendargirl I rely on you to keep me up dated if I fall asleep mid episode.smile

Calendargirl Thu 27-Aug-26 14:50:54

Jack also 15, September 2010, so nearly 16.

Liam 17, July 2009.

(I need to get out more!)

Calendargirl Thu 27-Aug-26 14:48:06

Just looked up Hope’s age, 15.

Born December 2010, in the tram/train crash episode.

So she’ll be doing GCSE’s next year, presumably.

Charleygirl5 Thu 27-Aug-26 13:05:23

Hope is definitely not that old. I have no ides how old the other two are supposed to be. I thought Hope was around 13 but who knows? There are far too many children in that soap.

Bukkie Thu 27-Aug-26 13:03:47

Didn't Liam sit his GCSE's last year when there was all the horrible bullying with Mason was going on? The less we see of Jack the better, he can't act for toffee.

Calendargirl Thu 27-Aug-26 12:54:49

Will seems to have disappeared after his GCSE results.

How old are Liam, Hope and Jack meant to be?

Were they sitting GCSE’s as well?

No mention of their results, if so.

honeyrose Thu 27-Aug-26 12:51:39

Bryan and Maggie. Who knew?! Everyone seems to be sleeping with everyone else in Corrie. What a hotbed of passion.
That horrible cellmate of Sarah Lou now knows Harry’s name. He’d better watch out!

luluaugust Thu 27-Aug-26 07:21:03

Surely Brian and Maggie were ideal candidates for getting one of those hotel rooms!

Calendargirl Thu 27-Aug-26 06:57:08

Far too much screen time being given to the Lucy/Richie/Tim/Sally/The Girls household.

Another rubbishy improbable storyline with hidden undertones, secrets, plots….

Lucy obviously more involved in the murder than previously implied, but frankly, I really don’t care.

If that were real life, think it would be better if she moved to an independent foster family, let’s face it, Tim and Sally are hardly relatives, never heard of her before a couple of weeks ago…. Think they have enough on their plates with Joanie, Shanice and Brody.

As for Brian and Maggie……

Can someone please send Mary on a lengthy sea voyage or something similar. I wonder if the actress who plays her wonders who wrote the drivel she has to say.

Charleygirl5 Wed 26-Aug-26 22:27:34

Calendargirl I totally agree, but I also don't want to see murders being carried out. I thought it was so disjointed I had missed an episode, but I probably wasn't paying attention because I was bored.

The writers are dreadful, very little humour. What Mary spouts out is rubbish but she is there every week.

Calendargirl Wed 26-Aug-26 20:58:05

What a boring, ridiculous, disjointed episode tonight.

EllieAnne Sun 23-Aug-26 19:07:57

Bukkie I’m confused too. I thought George gave her his house when they fell out over the inheritance
