I’ve just binge watched Wales Home of the Year on iPlayer.
Some really stunning homes and locations but not all the decor was my cup of tea. 😂

I didn’t really like a lot of them to be honest.

Often amazed when people looking for dream homes on Escape To The Country fall in love with a place, go for second viewings - and haven't yet sold their homes!

So they are in dreamland. But at least they got on the telly and had a couple of nice days out.

Escape to the country is one of my favourites.
I love those little chocolate box cottages.
I do get cross, though, when the potential escapees keep shilly shallying around and end up not buying anywhere.

My favourite series has to be The Great Irish House Revival on BBC iplayer with the late Hugh Wallace ( who I absolutely loved . I binge watched several series of it but can’t bear to watch it now he’s gone.

Although I do love those sort of programmes I do find them a bit formulaic. There has to be stress, bad weather and a huge overspend. At least the 84 year old didn’t find herself pregnant part way through the build which most of them do!

I love Grand Designs, but I've hardly watched anything since I was "forced" to get this new tv.
I'm still disgruntled

I wasn't full of admiration for the amount of money her overspend cost both her and her son. I didn't really see the point of it all.
