I've been watching the American series Bones, and Castle. I enjoy them.

I enjoy detective series without a lot of violence or scary scenes.

I also enjoy classic golden age style too.

Please has anyone any suggestions for more series - including past series still availale for viewing.

Many thanks.

Thank you for those. Most of which are new to me.

If you have a moment can you recommend 'old' ones - I may have missed.

I know Father Brown, Midsummer Murders,
Poirot, Columbo...

Thank you all.

Oh thanks.

I like Elementary, I've not heard of the Chicago ones.

There seem to be many I've not heard of.

Have you seen Matlock? On Sky Witness or NOW. Looks like there is going to be a series 3

If you can find them streaming somewhere Rizzoli & Isles, Body of Proof, The Glades, Monk.
Inspector Lynley Mysteries (the first version with Nathaniel Parker), Inspector Lewis, Morse. A Touch of Frost.

Those are some of the older, less violent ones.
