Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

GrannyGravy13 Thu 15-Oct-26 20:07:13

Hopefully my GC is asleep upstairs - I’m ready

Iam64 Thu 15-Oct-26 20:50:42

I have grandchildren overnight, then school run tomorrow. It’s even more entertaining with input from grandchildren.

Maw - I share the irritation about unconscious bias. I don’t deny it exists but on this occasion my response to the allegation I turned the radio off.

I really enjoyed tonight’s show 👏👏😅

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 15-Oct-26 21:16:10

Kenny is SUCH an excellent choice as a recruited Traitor! He was absolutely gobsmacked that Maya had managed to play him like a fiddle! He’s so clever and he’s definitely up for being a Traitor.

I found Joe drinking his tea and going round begging to be recruited so bluddy annoying. I hope they bump him off soon.

Iam64 Thu 15-Oct-26 21:20:09

Kenny is great

Fallingstar Thu 15-Oct-26 21:24:44

The thing is none of the faithfuls will suspect this bunch of traitors, all of them will be so good at flying under the radar.
I imagine either James Blunt or the Irish woman will go next. I can see the traitors winning the show hands down. Which could be a bit boring if the faithfuls do keep going for faithfuls which I think they will.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 15-Oct-26 21:25:38

Good show 👍🏻

JenniRen Thu 15-Oct-26 21:30:37

Kenny's very astute. A good decision to recruit him as a Traitor.
Breakfast tomorrow should be interesting.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 15-Oct-26 21:33:46

My prediction that the next Faithful under suspicion will be James Blunt.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 15-Oct-26 21:35:10

I think REG has totally spoiled this. Berk.

I ve never heard of Kenny before but what a great choice and what a nice happy chappie he is

I agree that he was stupid. And I believe he would have made a great traitor if he didn’t announce that he was one, he is such a big character and not a bad actor so if he’d stayed he would have added more to the show imho.

IS he great at ad-libbing and improvisation though?
Have any of us seen him do that?
I expect he's better with a script!

Smileless2012 Fri 16-Oct-26 08:56:15

I think Kenny was a good choice but I'm finding James' constant rhetoric about how difficult he's finding it being a traitor rather tiresome.

Aveline Fri 16-Oct-26 08:58:04

What is Kenny a celebrity for? I've never heard of him. He seems like a bit of an empty pot to me.

Namsnanny Fri 16-Oct-26 10:53:56

Kenny is probably there because he is a youtuber influencer type. Some one the gkids might know.
He is good on traitors, I think. I too like him. Truth is as has been said before, we have thw edited highlights, which mean we see what the director/producer thinks is best for the show.
The traitors are the ones least mistrusted at the mo.

I thought he was a boxer.
Perhaps I'm mixing him up with someone else.

Yes, James does look uncomfortable which is surprising.

He is a former Boxer, and now has his own uTube channel as a content creator

James didn't want to be a traitor. He's not really cut out for it - and I expect it will get harder and harder.

I think he's relieved to have someone else (Kenny) with them to ease the "burden" of it to be honest.

ginny Fri 16-Oct-26 12:43:14

Enjoying this as usual,
However does anyone else think James Blunt is totally out of place and uncomfortable? He doesn’t seem to have gelled with anyone and only comes to life when he can give orders on the tasks.
Very polite though.

Is this a clue to grandchildren informing us. Mine did last night. We have an 11 year old who is a runner, an athlete and has a home workout every morning. He admires Kenny “he’s ripped”. Grannie “ what does that mean”. Child “ he’s got a six pack, saw it when he had a shower”

It’s a different world out there 🙈

I agree REG really messed up and would have made the show more interesting. I think he and Maya made a mistake choosing James and then Hannah. Watching James at the round table he looks so nervous and keeps swallowing. It’s a good job he’s flying under the radar at the moment as once the going gets tough they’ll be on to him. Ross Kemp looks angrier and angrier - why do they take it so seriously?

I’d like Romesh to win.

JenniRen Fri 16-Oct-26 14:47:30

Hannah argued her corner but she kept blinking and flicking her hair, showing she was uncomfortable with being economical with the truth when defending herself.

Parsley3 Fri 16-Oct-26 15:13:28

I started watching this series with the expectation that I would enjoy it. However, yesterday's episode was really dull. So many of them are keeping their heads down that there is very little banter to entertain me. It was obvious that Hannah would go and there would be a recruitment so I wonder if that is why there were no shields to be won in the mission. I hope it picks up this evening.

Daddima Richard won't be brought back. No one has ever returned.....so far!!
