Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

TillyTrotter Fri 02-Oct-26 09:45:08

I hope James stays in, he’s a bit different (a comedian for those who don’t know him).
Richard is already getting on my nerves with his constant grinning.
I can’t think saying I’m a Traitor was scripted and he’ll have to work hard - or hope others do it for him - to get the heat off.

I really hope Amol gets murdered, he’s just too full of himself.

I’m hoping Richard E Grant stays for most of the series. He’s absolutely hilarious. He’s having a great time and it shows.

And then that sad line about his wife dying hit me quite hard. It was very poignant and made me fill up.

I just love the programme itself. Just what we need in all the gloom as it’s full of delicious distractions!

I’m utterly mesmerised by Maya’s face she’s quite beautiful.

I hope he stays too FGT's but what was he thinking!!!

Ross needs to be careful not to overdo the paranoia or the other faithfuls will get suspicious.

Claudia's brilliant; I wonder if she was miffed at Richard's blunder having only just selected him hmm.

I hope so too.

I don't think Claudia will be miffed.
After all it's good TV.

I think Richard is adopting Alan Carr’s approach with his giggling and so called blunders but surely the others will see through that?

nanaK54 Fri 02-Oct-26 11:07:12

It's all shaping up so well...how refreshing that no-one has felt the need to come along and tell us that 'they would rather watch paint dry' or similar!!!

I'm pretty sure that Richard will have completely 'blown it' - what on earth was he thinking.

Ross needs to 'get a grip' too!

I loved James Blunt taking charge at the start of the task.

Looking forward to seeing more of Hannah and Michael.

I'm enjoying Traitors.

Parsley3 Fri 02-Oct-26 11:20:39

It is very good TV. I am constantly amazed at how the faithful can be manipilated and persuaded to vote a person out based on lies and/or wrong assumptions. It's a lesson for life really.

crissy Fri 02-Oct-26 11:24:00

Surely Ross being so paranoid about being killed in plain sight points to him being a faithful. Maybe Richard could adopt a similar attitude, but I fear its too late. I'd also like to see a bit more of Ancaster. He always has such a dead pan face which could be hard to read.

Millie22 Fri 02-Oct-26 11:25:08

Last night was so good.

I really like Richard so I'm hoping he stays in.

JenniRen Fri 02-Oct-26 11:37:16

I thought we'd have to wait until next week to hear the result but it's on again tonight.

Was Richard double bluffing (or triple bluffing) and will it work or was it too obvious?

Perhaps James Acaster might prove to be a good Traitor if kept in but my initial reaction to him (not knowing who he is) was not positive.

MarieElla Fri 02-Oct-26 11:45:34

Last night's episode was amazing.
I know almost all the celebrities except for Joanne McNally, had to Google her.
I find her voice annoying and ,suspect her accent is either exaggerated or fake!

MollyNew Fri 02-Oct-26 12:26:31

The first episode was so much fun. "Claudiapatra" was a great quote from Jerry Hall!

I hope James Acaster stays in, he is very funny. Loving REG so far, I wonder how many scarves he's packed for the show? He is just hilarious but he'll have to work hard to save himself after that blunder.

Nannee49 Fri 02-Oct-26 12:40:40

Maybe Richard's gone on holiday by mistake again!

Visgir1 Fri 02-Oct-26 12:46:37

I think James stays as it was reported he had a Panic attack in the castle and filming stopped, doubt it was on day one?
Richard what a Muppet, hope he gets away with it.

Lixy2 Fri 02-Oct-26 13:47:27

My family sweepstake has my money on Amol being a winner. Ho hum! Fingers crossed for the reveal tonight.
(Hannah Fry is my other contender.)

I don’t like James Acaster as a comedian. I’m torn about whether I want him to go or stay - maybe I’d get to like him more if I knew him better.

Flippin2 Fri 02-Oct-26 13:47:55

I like James Acaster Richard seemed to forget what the game is about and blurted it out and poor Ross ,his paranoia is sky high

tanith Fri 02-Oct-26 13:50:27

I wish Richard would stop with all the gurning faces makes him look idiotic.

Aveline Fri 02-Oct-26 17:05:15

I love James Acaster and was only watching because he's in it. If he's out then I might have to rethink my viewing this month.

Curlywhirly Fri 02-Oct-26 17:23:38

Well I watched it last night, my first ever episode (after friends had recommended it). Can't say I thought it was great and really couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Should I have watched the previous series first to appreciate what is going on? Am I missing something? Maybe it will grow in me - so many people love it, but at the moment, I can't see why!

Curlywhirly Fri 02-Oct-26 17:24:10

*grow on me

Jaxjacky Fri 02-Oct-26 17:53:35

I’ve never ‘taken to’ Richard, but like Amol who does a lot of charity work with youngsters, hope he stays.
