Anyone up for a 'Traitors thread'?

NotSpaghetti Sun 04-Oct-26 12:11:17

There really aren't any horrible things on here Dottydots just a few people's opinions.

I'm sure all celebrities have much worse said about them elsewhere!
And none of us actually know these people so we aren't saying x is a horrible person he/she did x to me and I was ill for 6 weeks and in fear...

Dottydots

I am loving watching Traitors but I do worry that if a relation of one of the celebrities reads some of the above personal remarks on here they will be upset.

I imagine a lot will be said about those in Traitors in the press and on social media, and I also imagine the loved ones of those taking part take what is written with a pinch of salt. These are famous people who have made good money out of being in the public eye, that’s not to say they should be subjected to anything hateful, but I don’t think anyone has said anything hateful on here, just general chit chat. As with all those in showbiz they aim to be talked about, once people stop doing that they become has beens.

I’m surprised at how little is seen of Michael Sheen. Maybe he is keeping a low profile in the hope of staying in the game longer?

He is canny.

I'm in! Loving it, can't wait for next Thursday!!!

Somehow I think REG will get away with it. The spotlights are shifting somewhat.

DeeDe Sun 04-Oct-26 13:51:27

I’ve never seen it 🤦‍♀️
Will watch you all play it though, sounds good 😃

Donnaree Sun 04-Oct-26 13:52:56

I'm in! 😅

I am
Interested but haven’t hit a clue what it’s about

Nanny27 Sun 04-Oct-26 13:59:17

Can I join please?

I hope you're right FGT. Reg could be fun viewing.
With respect to your comments, that's all they were.
I don't really know why I'm so into this program. As others have said it is edited, presumably to build tension and encourage us to come back for more.
Do they choose to show us more of the people who have more to say, or those who will be out early? I'm quite fascinated as to how they keep us hooked.🤣
I don't think there is actually much skill involved, it seems everyone eventually turns on a sixpence based on the pressure they are under. RK is likely to go soon I think, and poss REG. Both have made themselves (according to the editing) obvious.
I wish they had condensed all episodes into a couple of weeks though

Fallingstar Sun 04-Oct-26 14:03:59

First time watching after my DDs kept saying I should and I thought would be a load of over hyped rubbish, but am totally hooked, and guessing what it is all about whilst trying to understand who everyone is. Was Maya in the pussycat dolls?

Namsnanny Sun 04-Oct-26 14:05:48

BTW, I actually think Hannah Fry's partner (sorry I've forgotten her name) should offer to leave so as to save Hannah from the risk of getting the chop. Seems the right thing to do.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Sun 04-Oct-26 14:11:36

On further thinking about REG …

Maya is not that faithful to REG was she? She didn’t really stand up for him at the round table, so eventually she will throw him under the bus. Neither did fellow Traitor James show any support for REG, so watch out for those two disposing of him, then James will dispose of Maya.

Great fun!

Maggiemaybe Sun 04-Oct-26 14:22:54

I actually think that Maya might vote against Richard at this round table. She seemed to be sizing up who else would and of course that would throw others off her scent (not that anyone seems to be particularly on it at the moment). In her shoes I’d be seeing him as a bit of a liability after his daft confession.

It's Jerry Hall! One I do know.
She was married to Mick Jagger then to Rupert Murdoch and says she leads a much calmer life now.
That was until Traitors.

I don't think it would be fair for Hannah to go either.

Likewise Miranda.

Both quieter than I thought they'd be, or perhaps that is editing.

Nanny27 Sun 04-Oct-26 14:26:30

I think i wait all year for the return of this brilliant programme.
Is it just me that heard 'Bella and Sebastian ' and immediately thought 'Belle and Sebastian'?
Ok, probably just me .🙄

crazyH Sun 04-Oct-26 14:27:40

I’m too dumb - I don’t. understand the game 😫

JenniRen Sun 04-Oct-26 14:30:52

It took a bit of getting used to as the last one with Alan Carr was the first one I'd seen.

If you Google, the rules are explained online.

sparkle1234 Sun 04-Oct-26 14:35:25

Totally invested in it , have watched all of them from the very beginning . I'd love to go on it but I'd be useless at the tasks as I can't run lol .

Parsley3 Sun 04-Oct-26 14:35:29

I am interested in the ones who are keeping quiet just now. They can just sneak through quite a few banishments under the radar. Only having two murder candidates is harsh as I would keep both of them. However, Hannah would be more useful in the missions than Jerry so if I was a traitor I would keep her. Also, she is on to Richard and if she is murdered it does put suspicion on him ( where it belongs). This is shaping up to be the best series yet.

That surprises me. We find 'the Round Table' segment the most exciting part!!

Maya Jama was not a Pussycat Doll, I know her as a TV host on shows including Love Island. She is an ex of Stormzy. I think she was still trying to protect REG without arousing suspicion, so felt she had to say something, as did James Acaster.

Flo122 Sun 04-Oct-26 15:14:28

Absolutely love it

Pame Sun 04-Oct-26 15:17:59

Best start to a Traitors yet! Couldn't have predicted REG stabbing himself in the foot! I agree with Uncloaked he can't survive. So frustrating having to wait until next week when hopefully will get to know the quieter ones better.......Loving it!!
