The exhibition. Ch 4.

It's on now, choosing his favourite artwork and meeting its creators. smile

Grayson Perry.?

Whitewavemark2 Fri 04-Dec-20 20:14:35

Yes?

I remember how thinking in the spring nature was carrying on and listening to the birds.

MissAdventure Fri 04-Dec-20 20:16:10

I always get his name around the wrong way!!
Blame Larry Grayson and Perry Mason. grin

lemongrove Fri 04-Dec-20 20:17:29

I have a neighbour who looks just like him, including the hairstyle....she’s happily oblivious to the fact.
I would take a look MissA but DH is absorbed in watching sport.

MissAdventure Fri 04-Dec-20 20:19:51

I do like his wife's hair. (Not your next door neighbour)

Whitewavemark2 Fri 04-Dec-20 20:23:34

His wife reminds me of someone. It’s on the tip of my tongue. It will drive me mad now until I can remember.

MayBee70 Fri 04-Dec-20 20:27:01

Her hairs a bit like Dawn French’s.

MissAdventure Fri 04-Dec-20 20:34:03

Wow! The man making those figures. smile

Whitewavemark2 Fri 04-Dec-20 20:40:16

☹️ I do feel sorry for them all

MissAdventure Fri 04-Dec-20 20:48:06

Prunella Scales.
Is that who his wife resembles?

Whitewavemark2 Fri 04-Dec-20 20:57:46

It’s driving me mad.

There was something about her when she was eating the sandwiches and her mannerisms.

If I ever think who it is I’ll post it?.

I did enjoy that. Felt a bit tearful tbh.

Wonderful tv. Loved the series earlier this year. Just what we need right now.

EllanVannin Fri 04-Dec-20 21:03:04

I've just watched the programme, how lovely.

threexnanny Fri 04-Dec-20 21:03:36

Exhibts are all beautifully displayed. I do hope people get to see them soon.

Grandma70s Fri 04-Dec-20 21:21:17

Whitewavemark2, I was a bit tearful too. I started being tearful during the programme about carols on BBC4 the previous hour (beautiful singing from Truro Cathedral Choir). Both programmes reminded me that there are creative people out there making life more interesting for all of us.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 04-Dec-20 21:25:21

I’ve videoed the carol thing.

Deedaa Sat 05-Dec-20 13:04:34

Such an interesting programme and I loved seeing Truro cathedral because we used to live there and knew the cathedral well.

Deedaa Sat 05-Dec-20 13:08:31

Grayson's exhibition looks wonderful. although I don't think there's any chance of me getting to Manchester to see it. I loved the autistic chap's little figures and the wire birds were wonderful.

MawBe Sat 05-Dec-20 13:23:01

I thought you meant Larry Grayson! gringrin
You’ll never get it wrong again now smile

ginny Sat 05-Dec-20 13:42:28

I enjoyed all the programmes earlier in the year. The exhibition looks great.
DH and I are thinking of a trip to Manchester in the New Year ( hopefully).

BBbevan Sat 05-Dec-20 16:49:46

He is such a superb person. Such empathy with everyone. Absolutely loved the programme but doubt we could get to Manchester to see it. It would be great if it was a rolling exhibition. A few weeks in all major towns. With Mr. Perry in person of course.

His wife reminds me of someone. It’s on the tip of my tongue. It will drive me mad now until I can remember.

She reminds me of Jacqueline Wilson, the children's author.

I loved the exhibition.

His wife reminds me if the lady judge on the Sewing Bee. Never could stand him, , however I was too quick to judge, he comes over as a very intelligent and compassionate person.

Blinko Wed 16-Dec-20 14:47:16

Anyone see him on HIGNFY last week? Dressed to resemble Margaret Thatcher... Fascinating and talented person. Perry, that is, not Thatcher.
