Just saw he had died at the age of 82. I really liked him as an actor.

Is that the James Cann who was Sonny (Santino) in The Godfather? very sorry to hear that he's forever frozen in my mind in that role.

I always liked him. He's been in so many good films.

Yes Terribull. He will always be remembered for that role but he was very versatile as an actor.

The first film I saw with my OH was Freebie and The Bean with Alan Arkin(?) I think and James Caan that was in 1975 .We've always watched anything he was in ever since

Funny Lady and Mickey Blue Eyes are two of my favourite JC films, he had a great presence on screen. He was brilliant in The Godfather.

Very sad news. " Look how they massacred my boy!"

Just heard it on the news, 82?

Hard to believe his age, but those films are years ago now of course.
