Have to say I prefer the half hour episodes.
- how fast is the criminal justice system in Corrie after Becky gets a trial and sentence in about 48 hours
- the same set seems to be used for both men and women in prison - is Weatherfield jail mixed?
- how easy is it to get a visiting order on the same day?
- let’s hope the Becky / Lisa / Carla story is winding up

How quickly the crash victims have recovered.

Carl was brought back from the dead at the roadside, then hooked up to drips and monitors in, I assume, ICU.

Now, just a week later, bouncing around the Chariot Square Hotel, looking the picture of health and still manipulating Debbie and the finances.

I think it’s no secret that Daniel and the coach are seeing each other, it’s just her and Will that is hidden, isn’t it?

Maybe because I fast forward through some of the boring bits but I still don’t understand all the Becky/ Lisa/Costelloe/ murdered woman in the coffin/ stolen money to pay off mortgage storyline - did Lisa really not know she was the co owner of a mortgage free house?

I think Lisa knew that the mortgage was paid off, but didn’t query much about where the money came from, or how their holidays etc had been funded.

I suppose the dastardly Becky pretended she had an inheritance, or a win on the premium bonds or lottery.

I still want to know, who exactly was Betsy’s birth mother, was it Lisa or Becky?

I don't understand why Shona's sister is apparently homeless and staying at Davids. Perhaps I dozed off and missed a bit.

Shona’s sister’s first appearance was in the Corriedale episode. She was bound and gagged in the back of a van at the crash site and escaped. I’m expecting her to be an off shoot from the people trafficking story that’s been running for months in Emmerdale . But it’s anybody’s guess.

Dopey David shouldn’t have dropped her off at their house with the offer of accommodation without even discussing it with Shona or indeed Audrey or Lily who are going to walk in to a complete stranger in the house.

Yes, not very likely Betsy could just pop round to the prison and get a meeting!

Calendargirl. Thank you for the new thread, I knew we needed one but didn't know where to start. Yes things move into a different timezone in soap world. Carl and Carla fully recovered, Noddy aka Becky in jail, same day visiting orders. Where is Carla living? Why doesn't she kick Lisa out? Lisa only moved in with Carla temporarily when she had a flood at her last house.

I agree. Maybe it's just getting used to the 30 minutes again, but with the ad break it's more like 25 minutes, and it's not long enough.

I always record and whizz past the adverts. I now remember Debbie and Ronnie vying with Carla and Lisa to buy Yasmeen's house. I love Debbie and most of her clothes but that flat decor would give me headaches.

I think it was mentioned a while ago that Becky gave birth to Betsy but I am not 100% sure.

I always felt that Becky gave birth to Betsy, as before the latest dramas, Lisa seemed the more distant mum, she seemed to come across as the ‘spare’ one, not having given birth, (if that makes sense).

Betsy seemed to view the missing Becky with more affection also.

Sorry if I come across as over-sensitive here but I really don't like the notion that the mother who didn't actually give birth is a 'spare' one. I think my daughter and her wife would also find the idea quite offensive.

Apparently Becky gave birth to Betsy, but Lisa provided the egg, and used a sperm donor, so I guess Lisa is the biological mother.
