I will now (hopefully) clearly state my case.
I listen to nothing but Radio 4 from 7.30 (ish) to around 19.30 ish. Therefore my first encounter with Count Arthur Strong was on the radio.

I have never watched the TV programme (sorry!) because I have this "thing" about not seeing people on TV (or other mediums) because with Radio I have my own vision as to how they look!
My beloved Mr P has been known to go through the Radio Times and stick post it notes over any images of Archer actors 
Perhaps I'm missing out by not watching the TV series (the comments about "walking to the plane makes me think I might be) but I have loved and enjoyed every episode that I have heard on Radio 4.
Yes, at first I thought "what on earth is this old claptrap about?" but I soon came to appreciate, enjoy and love it!
