Hello everyone,
I'm writing on behalf of Link Up (UK), a new registered charity founded to offer a unique approach to dealing with issues of prejudice, community and belonging. Our flagship project is the Great British Community website where we challenge misconceptions.
This month we're focused on age; we believe it is important to combat stereotypes that older people are either taking jobs from the young or are unproductive.
We would very much like guest bloggers to help mythbust by writing their personal opinions and/or personal experiences trying to find work, not being able to afford retirement, volunteering in retirement ect. We're happy for pieces to be short or long.
If you have something you'd like to contribute it would be great if we could have it, along with your name and age, before the end of the month.
I can be contacted via email at [email protected]. Our website is http://thegreatbritishcommunity.com/; take a look at our aims, supporters, articles, infographics and previous guest blogs.
Peace
