What a great idea. I hope the volunteers emerge to help disabled children have a wonderful experience

I didn't know RDA did carriage driving. This would be outside?
I gave up helping with our local one when they stopped taking the kids out as apparently they couldn't afford insurance. The kids, helpers, ponies and parents all wanted to get outside regardless of the 'danger' and attendance dropped off considerably because the dark indoor ring was so depressing and boring. But I assume this must have been overcome.

I'm not able to help with your group (I'm in Norfolk) but I will have a look at rejoining our local one.

(By the way - the link you gave came up with a phishing warning)

Just "bumping" this in case it has been missed!

(Sorry I can't help, I'm in North Devon)

I'm the secretary of an RDA Carriage Driving group and we are always in need of volunteers. You don't need to be 'horsey' just willing to help - we need people to help our disabled get ready, prepare equipment, help with the horses, make the tea and help tidy up. Or you could help with publicity, fund raising or volunteer finding.

Please get in touch, [email protected] or you can message me via our Facebook page, Kennet Valley Driving Group RDA.
