Oooh, that sounds interesting. I was a volunteer in schools for a couple of years listening to children read, so I'll be Googleing this

Yesterday I found out about this organisation which matches volunteers with adults who want to learn to read/improve their reading skills. The learner and volunteer work together for two sessions of about half an hour each week. Although The number of Read Easy groups is growing, not all areas of the country are covered yet. Have any G'netters worked with this organisation and the teaching scheme it recommends or know anyone who has? I would be very interested to hear more. Thanks
