Poor daughter

She's only been working at this spa since she qualified in July and they (3 therapists) have been told at a staff meeting today that they are closed with immediate effect and are in liquidation sad They all have to apply for their wages which doesn't look hopeful.
The girls had their suspicions and are all angry that the owners pretended it was all hunky-dory and were talking of sending D on further training courses.

Oh nina that's such a shame, but at least when your daughter applies for her next job she will have real experience to offer. I hope she does get her pay and finds another job soon.

Sometimes businesses have to travel hopefully. Maybe they really thought things might pick up or have been let down by a corporate company. Its hard for her though. It happened to DH many times during the dark days of the late 70s/80s.
