Our Support Group volunteers get together and assist with the planning and organising of various Group activities. It will give you the chance to share your experiences of living with arthritis with others in a way that is fun, informative, and so valuable to those also facing the condition.
The role will involve some of the following elements:
•Spreading the word about the Group and engaging with new attendees.
•Supporting others in the Group to organise meetings.
•Advertise the Group to other local organisations in the Harrow area.
•Ensure the smooth running of Group meetings/gathering
Volunteering with Arthritis Care will give you the opportunity to gain and develop experiences and skills, build confidence and meet new people. Your role will be important in ensuring the successful running of the Group, in order to continue to support people affected by arthritis in Harrow.
And finally – as a volunteer with the Harrow Support Group, you will make new friends and have the opportunity the share your valuable experiences with others.
