I got a job!

I'm 60 years old, and I haven't worked for a third-party employer for 20 years. But my husband has died, my finances are fairly dire, and I need to get a job. I tripped over one online by accident, applied, was interviewed yesterday and was offered the job today. And it's at the better end of my salary expectations. I'm delighted, amazed, and thought my story might encourage anyone else who's job-hunting.

Head of Finance for a rather prestigious local charity. It's a one year contract - maternity cover - and pretty much exactly the kind of thing I wanted.
