Soon our company will have an anniversary and in honor of this, our management decided to give all employees an original leather apron. Can you recommend me who I can contact on this issue?

Why?
What is the problem?

Calendargirl Thu 13-Feb-20 06:54:15

Leather? Vegan? Animal welfare?
Personally, I would accept an original leather apron quite happily.

Calendargirl Thu 13-Feb-20 06:55:48

And I would be annoyed if someone made an issue of it!

Hello, ruffa, are you new? Welcome

What a strange question - details?

NanaandGrampy Thu 13-Feb-20 08:52:59

The easiest solution is to ask the company who currently supplies promotional items to source options for you . If you don’t have one they are easily found on google .

This poster doesn't look to be in the UK, going by the style of language and spelling of honor.

Hopefully ruffa will come back and clarify the post. Giving a leather apron suggests a factory or workshop to me, but I could have got it totally wrong! grin

Leather Apron ? Not a very practical gift is it, what can you do with it. On the other hand a look alike apron made from modern materials with company branding would be usefull to many.
I would have a word with whichever manager you can approach and say how useless a leather apron would be.

I priced leather aprons, some are at least £100! That is some corporate gift.

Hetty58 Thu 13-Feb-20 09:08:51

I, for one, would rather have something (anything) else!

MerylStreep Thu 13-Feb-20 09:10:02

Contact Jay Blades ( from The Repair Shop) he knows a thing or two about leather aprons. ?

Marydoll Thu 13-Feb-20 09:16:47

We can speculate and make suggestions, but until we know the context of the gift, we are totally wasting our time. grin.
The people reciving the gift may be delighted to receive such a gift, it's not about what we would like.
The OP needs to come back and clarify. He/she must have great faith in the wisdom to be found on GN.

Not sure what I would do with a leather apron . They seem very stiff and heavy.

Now a Cath Kidston one (to add to my collection) would be most welcome smile

I just thought Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Leather aprons are what blacksmiths wear ?
I would have to pass it on to my sister, the Queen of regifters. That’ll teach her.

Not knowing what the company makes it is difficult to judge.

If it is in the leather or meat processing trade, where vegetarian or vegan employees are going to be vanishingly rare, it might be OK, but any other industry and it seems a thoughtless and inappropriate gift.

My friend has a small restaurant and this leather workshop made original aprons for the employees of her restaurant.
