Bold colours

bold dresses

Bold colours are a statement, and will certainly make sure that you're visible and hold a presence in the room. Of course, they're not for everyone. But if bold is what you're after, here's what we'd recommend...

How to wear bold colours

If you're going to wear striking colours, it's best to utilise colour co-ordination to get the best look. May we present your new best friend: the colour wheel. But there are generally three rules to mixing colours that are good to bear in mind:

  • Wear opposing colours together i.e. blue-green and red-orange.
  • Wear neighbouring colours i.e. yellow and yellow-green.
  • Wear the neighbours of opposing colours together i.e. blue-violet and orange.
