Ingredients

100g self raising flour
100g sugar
100g butter
100g oats
Tbsp/squeeze syrup

Handy Hint

We tend to make 6 cookies from this amount of ingredients but then we do like big cookies. Dried fruit or choc chips can be added at the dried ingredient stage

Method

1. Pre heat oven to 150C and line baking tray with greaseproof paper
2. Mix flour, sugar and oats together in bowl.
3. Gently melt butter on hob or in microwave then add to dry ingredients mixing with wooden spoon.
4. Add syrup and mix
5. Divide into 6-10 portions then flatten into 1cm thick circles
Bake for about 10 mins and leave to cool on wire rack
