Plum barbecue sauce recipe from MissLes
Ingredients6 plums (chopped)
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion (peeled and chopped)
3 garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)
1/2 cup apple-cider vinegar
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tbsp salt, or to taste
1 tsp of paprika
Method1. Fry the onions, garlic, plums and other ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cover, reduce the heat and simmer 5 minutes.
2. Uncover and leave to simmer for around 15 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove cinnamon stick.
4. Cool, and then place mixture in a food processor and whiz until smooth.
