Ingredients

10 oz Pasta Shells
5 sliced mushrooms
tbsp. olive oil
3 crispy bacon rashers 3freshly picked tomatos chopped
tsp mixed herbs
thick tomato soup
4oz grated cheese
1 cup of vegetable stock 1 onion chopped

Method

cook onion-olive oil-bacon in oven dish for 7minutes on 240`c, add pasta to the dish, cover with vegetable stock -and cook for 25 minutes at 240`c stirring a few times- add thick tomato`s and fresh tomato`s and cook for a further 6 minutes top up with grated cheese- reducing oven to 180`c for 12 minutes till golden brown

This was a recipe served to me when I was evacuated during World War 2, cooked on a solid fuel iron stove. How they managed the ingredients I will never know, but I was lucky to get the Recipe in the early Eighties before my Wartime guardian passed away.
