Win a Toto the Ninja Cat bundle worth over £150

toto the ninja cat competition

To celebrate the release of Dermot O'Leary's latest children's book, Toto the Ninja Cat and the Mystery Jewel Thief, we've teamed up with Hachette Children's to offer one lucky gransnetter a fantastic prize bundle worth over £150. The winner will receive a set of four Toto books, family membership to Historic Royal Palaces, and a £50 Waterstones voucher. One runner-up will also win a set of Toto books.

Toto is no ordinary cat, and she can’t wait for you to join her fourth ninja adventure. It's written by one of the UK’s best-loved broadcasters Dermot O’Leary and features dynamic black and white illustrations throughout from illustrator Nick East.

The Toto the Ninja Cat series has sold in excess of 180,000 copies with Dermot’s warm and winning personality shining through in his writing. Dermot weaves in gentle themes of friendship, inclusivity and acceptance in stories purrfect for fans of The Aristocats, The Secret Life of Pets and Atticus Claw Breaks the Law.

Based on Dermot’s real-life cats, Toto the Ninja Cat and the Mystery Jewel Thief sees the return of Toto and her brother Silver, who live in a town house in London. Toto is almost totally blind, and learned to trust her senses from a ninja cat master. By day, Toto and Silver are ordinary cats, but by night, they find themselves having all kinds of adventures. Grown-ups will enjoy reading this aloud with its witty feline puns and children will pore over the illustrations that bring the alternative animal world to life.

In their latest adventures, Toto and her friends are due to be looking after the French ambassador on a day of sightseeing, finishing at the Tower of London to see the animal world’s crown jewels: a sacred diamond cat collar. But when they arrive, the collar has disappeared - and what’s worse, it looks like Toto has been framed for the crime! Toto is almost arrested, but she escapes to try and get to the bottom of the mystery and clear her name. To do so, she and her friends will have to follow some strange clues that will take them to a secret bookshop, Buckingham Palace and the rats’ underground city...
