When my daughter was taken in with acute sickness it was TWINS!! That would be nice

She is apparently 3 months pregnant so its only 6 months you have to put up with. I'm just very pleased for them both and if it is twins so much the better!

A June baby. Lovely. And she won't have to fret about the little one being a summer born and consequently a little disadvantaged in a large infant class.
I hope it's a girl anyway, as the nation can then look forward to a Queen again.

I just hope they leave the poor girl alone a bit. You can almost hear the tabloids speculating about her weight and how much she will put on and how long it takes her to lose it.

There's nothing that makes you feel quite so grim as severe morning sickness - poor lass.

Please - please keep all the gushing to a single thread that some of us will wish to avoid. Not that I wish the poor girl ill, but really, it will all get too much.

Is it usual to suddenly get morning sickness at 3 months? Hope everything's ok. Feel quite emotional about it .

Well, I'm a bit of a Republican [but I'm still feeling a bit emotional ]...

I have no problem with them having a baby or two but I don't want to pay for another generation. They have far more money than me and are quite capable of paying for themselves.

It's much more important than the issue of keeping them -how can anyone defend the hereditary principle ? How can we live in a democracy where Charles is allowed to interfere in the Government's business and his letters are kept secret? How very fortunate K&W are that they won't be affected by cuts in tax credits or have to move out of a house that is too big or expensive for them with housing benefit cuts bite and families will be forced to move away from their roots . Oh the kant ( or is it cant?) I am not going to be able escape - I'm having a week w/ o alcohol but goodness - I came close to cracking tonight!!

Well, all the news reports say three months. Not that it makes much difference, as a normal pregnancy is 40 weeks anyway.

I am very pleased for them, as I would be for any wanted pregnancy, but also sorry for them having to go through a first pregnancy so much in the public eye. Kate will be scrutinised at every opportunity for signs of the "bump", shadows uder her eyes, is she thinner because of the morning sickness, etc etc. Just hope it all goes smoothly for them.

Hyperemesis is usually in the first few weeks of pregnancy, after 12 or 13 weeks things can greatly improve but it can return every so often.
